This is a great idea, but I have some EVEN better ideas!
I know of an outpost or two in 0.0 that is undefended.
The red team can get one; the blue team the other.
Now after that you will need some pos's to defend it, then some ice miners to fuel them, then a local defense fleet, then some ratters to pay for losses, then maybe a capital ship yard to start a cap fleet, then some more miners to help fuel that...
Anyway--with just a bit more direction you can have a BLUE region and a RED region !!!!!!!!!

Yes, and you just wrote down ALL the things RvB _is not_ ;)
Anyway, join up for great fights! No commitment needed, you can come and go as you please, but results show that we are addicting ppl :p

You know you guys just need a green alliance and you'd pretty much have DAoC in space.

Been in Blue for little more than a week and I can only say I'm satisfied with what I've got. Sure, some heavy losses (mainly due to my poor ship handling skills) but also some really nice fights, including Purple gangs when we band together with Red to fight third parties who wardec us. Thanks for the fun, Mercenary Forces! 
Red vs Blue gets me official stamp of approval!

Is this still going on..im fairly new to eve though been training for a while havent been past lvl 1 missions would like to try some pvp..where does all this take place tried to jump on the chat channel no response from anyone..
