This mission requires you to transport 50 Prisoners back to the station. Each prisoner weighs an extreme 7.5m3 each.
This equals out to 375m3 of cargo space you need to transport them. This leaves almost no room for spare ammunition.
1.0 m3 would be much more realistic imo.

It used to be a total of either 50m3 or perhaps 100m3. I know for sure that it DID get changed at some point. ---------------------------------------

Well its the end of the mission. Dump your leftover ammo and head home (you should not have a lot less as you will know how much ammo you approch. need to finish the mission)

What ship are you using for that mission ? I've done it in a Dominix and in a Raven, and I only use a third of my cargoholds for ammo, at most ... with the 600+ m¦ that those BS have, it not a problem, really.

Made me chuckle.
"requires you to transport 50 Prisoners" "1.0 m3 would be much more realistic imo."
After getting 50 prisoners in a 1 meter cubed box they probably wont be worth freeing. Those of a weak disposition should avoid even looking in the box.
Besides, "Each prisoner weighs an extreme 7.5m3 each." m3 is not a unit of weight. 2x2x1.9m is rather tight to "store" someone in, which comes to 7.6m3, so if you want realistic then 375m3 is too small!

Elite Slaves: 1.0m3 Exotic Dancers: 1.0m3 Freed Slaves: 6.0m3 Homeless: 3.0m3 Janitor: 3.0m3 Kameiras: 1.0m3 Livestock: 1.0m3 Marines: 2.0m3 Refugees: 1.0m3 Science Grads: 3.0m3 Slaver Hound: 1.0m3 Slaves: 5.0m3 Tourists: 1.0m3
Granted, these are Passenger trade goods, however, it doesn't make sense that there is a wide disparity between most of these (1.0, 3.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.5 (Prisoners). Especially since all other mission loot is mostly 1.0 m3

I do this mission in a Drake, and yes, it is a pain having such a large volume of cargo to shift.
My solution; kill all the rats (including the single BS reinforcement), and then go get the salvaging/looting ship (without most of the cans that normally go in the hold), collect the prisoners, salvage and loot the wrecks (not many of them), profit. The rats don't respawn. It is also worth hanging around for the reinforcement BS; it's worth a million or so.
This mission is worth salvaging, if only because Sanshas drop Melted Capacitors worth half a million each.

It is ********ly high. And you're right, it didn't use to be this way. the sizes were erronously increased during Trinity expansion, along with the module size increases.

Meh, I got this mission after about 30 others, and it took less than 30minutes to complete in a battleship. Don't whine.
For one, the enemies are pathetic. I could probably kill everything in a T1 frigate. You both don't need much ammo, nor need to kill much.
So, what on earth could we do to finish this mission? How hard..
Any Battleship has more than enough space to fit enough ammo to run this mission 3 times, and pick up the prisoners.
A BC shouldn't have a problem, if so, it could easily do this mission with a cargo expander fitted no matter how silly it seems.
Personally I always salvage and loot, so I killed everything, then got my salvaging Hurricane and picked up both salvage, loot and the mission item, and then finished the mission. Peace of cake, a destroyer will do too.
Last but not least, you get warned for cargo space being lower than what you have free in your cargobay when you accept. Do some research and decide wether to accept or not, no standing loss if you refuse it and take on another.
Get real, this mission is extremely easy and the cargobay requirement is pathetically low. Maybe if you're an isk farmer you have trouble with suprises like these, but anyone with the iq of a chimpansee or higher, such as every person playing EVE, should be able to tackle this mission in under 30minutes using common sense. So goddamn use it and stop whining about every little thing.

Considering you could easily shove 50 people in a 2x2x2 cube if confort is not an option, or let's say a 2.5x2x12 box (I'm sure you're familiar with the term "bus" or "train"), I'd say one cubic meter is more than enough room for one passenger.

Not saying all 50 would be in 1.0m3 space.
Each one should be 1.0m3; which would equal to 50m3 cargo. Bit more reasonable if you ask me. How easy or hard the mission is isn't the point here.

Prisoners must be chained to a wall or the floor to keep from causing havoc among your ship and killing eachother, maybe your using too long of chains and giving them too much room !?

Edited by: Andrue on 29/01/2008 07:58:10 I treat Rogue Slave Trader as if it were one mission and don't loot 1/2 (apart from the slave of course) until I've finished 2/2. Then I use a dedicated salvager and it's no problem at all. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)
