I thought this was the standing i needed (personal to corp)? Still says they dont like me. I am in a NPC corp. |

Try running another mission, or relogging. Have had the same problem once.

hmm tried over night no luck, i'll run another mission, maybe its 7.99999 and just rounding up on the display. |

iirc, it's true standing, not skill affected "derived standing" that gets you jump clones.
probably you know this, but just in case. . .

Derived standing works. You don't even need to be in NPC corp now. It is probably rounding. Make sure you are in the right station too.

Derived standing is not the appropriate word. Its your unmodified standing, meaning the standing BEFORE the connections skill is applied. You know where it says in parentheses next to your standing (Connections # raises your effective standing from #.#) Whatever the number in that parentheses is, that is your unmodified standing. That's what you need 8.0.

Not True - one of my characters has no problem getting Jump Clones with a standing of 8.23 raised from 7.98 with connections 3.
You unmodified standing is used for contributing to corp standing. your modified standing is used for refining taxes and jump clones.

I have definitely gotten jump clones with corps with an unmodified standing of less than 8.

QFT. I have 7.63 standing toward Republic Fleet, modified to 8.01 and have no problem getting jump clones.

Ok, I have a similar problem. I'm in Amarr space but I began running missions for Core Complexion, a Min corporation. I've achieved level 4 missions and have better than 8.0 standing to the corp, and don't want to start over.
However, I tried to install a JC in one of the corp's med facilities and I was told they don't like me. What am I doing wrong? Is this related to the fact that I have a nominal rating for Amarr since I've been running missions for a Min corp?

Yeah I ran a quick level 3 mission, ended up with 8.03 standings and JC installed fine... |

No, right char, but I read that I had 8.03 modified as of yesterday (connections 2). Maybe I'll check it again. I bet that's my agent standing, which must be different from corp standing. So I guess I have to go by unmodified?

Jump clone service goes by skill-modified corp standing, not agent standing, not faction standing. Use the i button at the top right corner when you are docked in a corp station.
