Hi CCP. I am an avid fan of frigate sized ships and use MAPC's alot for vaious fittings. Can you please indicate when you will likely add the ability to invent the tech II version of these modules?
Thanks

I thought that of myself already, but their CPU cost would be immense and mostly there is not much left after I used even a good named aux.

For the most part I would not expect the CPU requirement to exceed the Tech 1 MAPC by much if at all. My obervations of tech II is the fitting requirements are the same as or a little higher than a tech I basic Module for the same bonus as the best named module.

Another opportunity to add invention only tech II content. As for stats they could look something like CPU 25/GRID +13, requiring Energy Management V. Could be a great addition for frigate/AF fans.

Care to elaborate DC. You could say the Power Diganosic on a Battleship is overpowered too given the boost they give. A Frigate is fragile enough that giving up a low slot to enable the next tier up in guns or a better tank is not game breaking and this module will never see use on anything but frigates.

Why would we need those? We already got power diagnostics and reactor controls.
