Besides that, the self destruction of a BoB Ceo capital ship is a somewhat symbolic act. Especially in the current situation. As I am a big softy, I am a bit melancholic about BoB's situation nowadays. While the CIS likes to see BoB decimated, 0.0 will feel different if BOB is ever completely removed from conquerable space. There was a time, a long time ago when BOB was on the border of RA space pushing goons and co out of former ASCN space. Their allies in arms MC, held a good chunk of the north with D2 burning and many puppets were installed to bolster the BOB powerblock. Back then, CORM, EXE, RISE, ISS, FIX, MC, DL, YouWhat and many many others were on board of what everyone thought was an invincible steamroller that only had to push through the goons and their eastern friends. Then an amazing thing happened. Something not many could imagine. BOB got bogged down in their proverbial Stalingrad in Tenerifis. The Goons actually surprised everyone and with RA and co help, reversed the advance and started to grind down the BOB machine. At this point, BOB had plenty of allies, plenty of pilots. In fact, most at the time (after D2 fell) bet on the BOB bloc winning this. Today, after many months of war, many of their allies lay beaten, others turned and the war is not so pretty. BOB was and is being beaten fair and square. Doubt we will see it again in EVE At the beginning of the war, many in BoB believed that the coalition would hold together no longer than at highest a few months, before it would collapse into a non functional chaotic mess that could easily be defeated. POS majority was achieved by coalition forces today in QY6 and the current POS count is 6-5 GF/RKK with another RKK POS about to be gone shortly. This system is key to the F-T Sov 4 constellation and when it falls sov 4 will fall with it. As an aside if QY6 falls then it becomes the first station system in Delve to fall to an aggressor since this war began. No longer can BoB simply move the goalposts with their "we didn't want tenerifis/omist/feyth/eso/paragon soul/fountain/period basis" routine based off of some arbitrary war starting point. They have to now accept the horrifying truth that not only are their core Delve systems falling, but they are falling to towers set by Goonfleet. Many have pointed out that we are bringing overwealming force to the table in order to accomplish our goals and that bob have a great K/D ratio or that we couldn't accomplish this without our friends. This is of course completely true. We value our allies who have joined us in this fight and from the north where they fought tooth and nail to claim back their home, to the south where they helped us build an empire, every single one of them are appreciated and valued for their continued efforts. Hell yeah we want them with us as we clog the jump gates of BoB's dying empire with our corpses. We wouldn't have it any other way. So this brings us to our current situation. Bob has all the PVP they ever wanted and I assume are enjoying every minute of it. We are relieving them of their station systems and the last footholds they own in 0.0 space. We're having a blast, they are having a blast. Of course the work isn't done and our fortunes could change at any point, but that's why we play the game.

I think the fighting in the south will continue long after the ones who control it finally disolve, which has been a long time coming. I think the tide of the war will change as more and more get involved in it, and only work together loosely towards large goals, to prevent them using their skills at meta gaming to their advantage. Remember to offer them the same terms they did to ASCN, to pull assets and join your side, even individual people, will be nice to watch them slowly fall apart from the inside, and people running off with corp assets & t2 materials .. allready seen some jump freighters making trips out of delve.. of BNC. & pos equipment contracts where they arrived... I think most know their time is over down south, and this carrier self destructing shows that In any case, keep these interesting reports coming :) -Banner coming- Back from long break
