Honestly people, get a grip.
Wishing people dead IRL over a game is unacceptable, period.
I can't believe some of the people trying to justify it (other however, unfortunately, I expect nothing less).
I don't mind being hated in a game, but that is all it is, just a game. Perspective people.

Er, I'm not the OP, I'm not trying to claim the moral high-ground.
However, at least I don't think wishing people dead is acceptable or excusable, so maybe I should start claiming it for myself?

I guess if you can't win with your skill you try via GM.
Petitioning people who are breaking the rules has nothing to do with skill or the lack of it. Or do you think it is okay for people to break the rules?
I'm interested in your position on people breaking rules.

I'm interested in your position on GM's moving your ships around so you won't lose them.
I don't have a position on it, because I haven't been in that situation. However, if the GMs do it then it is fine, right? Unless you are so arrogant as to think that you know their job better than them?

I'm afraid in that case you're correct. I do know their job better than they did. Or you'd have been down quite a few hulls when your petitions were denied. Ask ol' Jake Noble or the OP what their positions are if you want to get inside of the minds of someone who condones that sort of thing.
So it is your opinion that people should not be moved to avoid the consequences of a node crash, over which they had no control? That CCP should not be responsible for the failings of their game?
Or are you just bitter that crashing the node didn't get you a bunch of cheap kills? Nah, couldn't be that.
