Quote: Last night, the Coalition of Deklain joined forces with the RSA an an attempt to back them up. Last night, they took both took heavy losses, 4 BS from one large fleet battle plus a collection of ships around the map here and there. No friendly forces were lost.
Tonight, forces from NORAD/DSIN/RKK/CELEST moved on the forces of RSA again. In response to us moving up, RSA again called in reinforcements from the FE. There proceeded a collection of fights around FADE...
Fight 1 An estimated FE/RSA/C0D force of around 15 ships were camping the lc-307 > C4c gate. Around 30 ships from NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK jumped on top of them. The early battle at close range was brutal, both sides giving it their all. Both sides were losing ships and the numerical advantage of the NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK forces started to pay off. Then FE warped out and warped back in at 60km, moving to a premium range for them. Although they had a numerical disadvantage overall, they had an electronic warfare advantage. Using their highly trained target calling skills, they quickly dispatched the remainder of the NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK forces dampening and jamming ships. The battle had begun to swing largely in favour of the FE. Five jumps out, a back-up fleet of 10 RKK members was on it's way. We got their just in time as the fight looked to be swaying FE's way. With the numerical advantage and electronic warfare advantage back in our favour, we proceeded to force the FE to regroup. We pulled back to the station and counted our losses.
Approx scores from fight 1: NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK forces 5 BS lost
FE/RSA/C0D forces 3 BS lost
Fight 2 Fight 2 was actually a small engagement as we were regrouping. We had heard that FE/RSA/C0D were attacking the station in c4c so we went to defend it. We jumped into the station but the small fleet there pulled back. We engaged 3 BS at the sun, killing them all.
Approx scores from fight 2: NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK forces 0 BS lost
FE/RSA/C0D forces 3 BS lost
Fight 3 After we regrouped again in c4c, we sent scouts in to see what was happening in lc-307. By this point, both sides had lost some pilots due to ship loss, late night logging and things were starting to even up. Our side still had the numerical advantage. Lc-307 was camped out by the remainder of the FE/RSA/C0D fleet. We felt it was suicidal to jump into their fleet a second time but decided to go for it anyway. Upon jumping in, we lost two CELEST BS and the rest of us engaged the forces there. We killed two FE/RSA/C0D BS and the rest pulled out again to regroup.
Approx scores from fight 3: NORAD/DSIN/CELEST/RKK forces 2 BS lost
FE/RSA/C0D forces 2 BS lost
At this point, we held at the gate for a while but then decided to move back down to empire as people were beginning to log. The last I heard FE/RSA/C0D forces had regrouped en masse and recovered their stations in Fade.
A great night of fighting, although pretty even in the end. The fight was initially laggy for Fight 1 for those at the start due to the mass amount of people involved but I personally didn't have any problems at all.
I was impressed by FE's ability to overturn a larger force and start to get on top, and if it wasn't for the fact that a RKK force was manouvering up behind them, it could have turned into a rout like the last battle we fought did.
This is however, the first time we have managed to put together numbers to counter the FE and it is also the first time I have seen the FE move away from a fleet battle. So tonight was a good night for our forces involved regardless of the fact that the scores were even.
Thanks to Blacklight, Toulak, Galavet, Celest (not sure who was leading), Darwin and Mongo Peck.
Was fun guys, look forward to it again.

DP nice little brief on what took place.
Nice. Who is Fade? Why are people fighting for Fade? Why is FE protecting Fade? "Sick animals die eventually" why prolong the life of an alliance that cannot protect itself? Just my opinion. No offenese to the self proclaimed alliances up there.
