All that cap (officer cap recharger, officer cap relay, 3 cap recharger t2's) for 1 armor rep?
The setup is pretty good, remote reps etc also use cap. In fleets carriers/ms are supposed to rep eachother so higher resistances and just 1 rep is good.
Sure if he fitted for more resists but he didnt ...
He dropped a rep in favor of a cap power relay... Cap he had nothing to spend on... Assume that you either are remote repping -or- self repping, then his setup was as followed:
530 cap/sec regen 107 cap/sec needed for a single armor rep 179 cap/sec for remote armor 198 cap/sec for remote shield 370 cap/sec for remote armor and shield
If he had dropped the power relay and changed the damage control to another centum a-type eanm, his tank would have gone from 2289 -> 5031 and still have had 370 cap/sec (enough for both shield + armor -or- self-reps + all his smartbombs).
One could argue that he wanted to cycle his remote ecm burst as well, but the use of the module is limited to say the least and I very much doubt he'd be cycling that all the time. And even if he did then he would still be able to cycle the bloody thing for over 5 minutes. Oh and he could have sold the cap-relay for another officer cap recharger which would have made my statement even more true.
And just a note on the damage control, assuming lvl 4 armor compensation skills, his resists where 77.6% EM, 86% thermal, 86% kinetic and 80.6% explosive. If he had switched to 2x centum a-type eanm, his resists would have been 81.4% EM, 86.7% thermal, 86.7% kinetic and 81.6% explosive, roughly 10% better and he would have only lost 300k effective HP (4.1m hp for 2x centum a-type and 4.4m hp for 1x centum 1x dmg control t2) and while one could argue that as a significant loss, I am assuming he was remote repped and with that said 2x armor rep + 2x centum a-type would have been significantly better then the crap he fitted now.
As such his lows where crap, mkay. But sorry for your loss as I am probably one of the few in this thread that knows how it feels to lose a Nyx. ---
