I personally don't think the threadnaughts hurt the game. The Titan change was a very good move for the game. I think too many people take this game too seriously. I play eve for fun, not for grounding anyone into the dust or beating someone down. Eve is a big enough sandbox and there are opportunities elsewhere. If you did in fact move North, good move, play the game on your terms. And for goons not using tactics and just numbers, I think the trap they executed to kill the Nyx yesterday shows clearly its not the case.

Bob warped capitals on the goon dreads, thinking the dreads were screwed because Goons can't send in reinforcement caps. Goons jumped in a support fleet, Bob had a titan to destroy that threat. However, Goons had tons of caps on standby nearby... once the cynojammer was down, goons jumped in and the trap was sprung. I wasn't there but this is what I've pieced together. Bait = goon dreads at cynojammer.

I do care about this game, and if it hadn't have been for the threadnaught, the T20 scandal probably would have been swept under the carpet more completely than it was. You may not wish to admit it, but Goons SAVED EVE (from where I sit, and I was actually shooting goons gleefully when the story broke.) Again: I've been a goon, by proxy, for 2 months or so now.
