There's probably no ship(not counting caps), which can brake the tank of the hyperion.
But his cap will most probably die in < 4mins, so you just kill his drones and try to move as much is possible, cuz large ions are very bad and tracking and range.

Waiting for the hype to get out of boosters doesn't mean breaking the tank. If you were reading more carefuly, you should have seen that I suggested exactly the same as the only way to beat it - stay alive til he cap dies.
As long as it has cap it will tank any single battleship and still deal about 800 DPS.
Ofc there are many guys outthere, who don't have a clue in fitting, but have spare money. 2 days ago I saw a hype, fitted with neutrons, heavy NOS, no cap booster and DCU and afterburner...

Also the hyperion can deal 1336 DPS with maxed skills and last time I checked the mega was only 1322 with 4x MFS II and nobody would fit so many.
i though we agreed that when you turn off the MWD things chage a lot.
And you are pretty wrong about the tracking. You are not taking the hyperion out to fight vagas, nanoishtars and shoot ceptors. Your are flying it to fight battlecruisers, battleships, etc.
So please, give us a screen of your fittings, share with us.

It's more like 28k armor with pathetic resistslike 72/55/55/38 and it's slow as hell. You know this mega works only for station camping, right?
You started with the numbers, so don't be scared by them now.
No tracking, lol, what? You ever heard of tracking comps? They do pretty good for med range with 350mm.
Maxed DPS - no tank, that's the deal. But you can tank the neutron mega for as long as you have boosters and still deal 800 DPS. How's that?
And I still wait to see the dominix that will outtank a hyperion.

It do not outtank hyperion, neither outdamges it. Don't know where you are getting your numbers from. Please, gimee screen.
