NEWS UPDATE
Glad tidings Amarrians...
Tonight PIE Inc and the CVA successfully destroyed two battleships from the Peoples Front of Minmatar in seperate engagements.

Tempest About to Expire
In total three battleships from the 'Friends of Matar' alliance were downed this weekend as well as a number of other smaller ships for minimal CVA frigate losses.
This is good news for loyal Amarrians everywhere as it follows a week where PIE and its allies had been put on the backfoot by the increasingly confident and numerous 'Friends of Matar' coalition who have stepped up their terrorist activities in Amarr space.
The 'Friends of Matar' has recently inflicted some serious casualties on the Amarrian CVA alliance so it will come as a relief to Amarrians that this weekend once again saw the initiative return to the Amarrian side...
Admiral Golan Trevize, CEO of PIE said, "The 'Friends of Matar' are competent opponents. We respect their fighting ability and the bravery of their pilots. But we will not sit idly by while they victimise innocent Amarrian traders. We who fight on behalf of Empire and Emperor are prepared to put our ships on the line and accept losses in defence of our traditions. One day the Minmatar will tire of losing their sons in this futile terrorist struggle and accept the benevolent guidance of the Amarr - it is inevitable! Join us and help hasten their day of enlightenment."

Blacksheep are not members of the CVA. The CVA is an Amarr only alliance!
From what I know though they (Blacksheep) have also recruited a number of new members since they decided of their own violition to engage the non-Minmatar elements of the 'Friends of Matar'

Although we respect their fighting ability and faith in the Scriptures, they are indeed most worthy allies.
One can however point at the fact that NOINT has had more then it's share of internal problems and are these not friend of Matar?

yes yes, we had a internal problem about a member. But moral is high, even after hes desperat try to take the corp down with him.
and for each Minmatar you kill, we will kill twice the number of Amarrian's.

Well I don't know anything about Blacksheep Moral being down. As far as I've seen things couldn't be better, but I'm not on call as a liason officer so I'll let Garreck field that query.

Like I said...the people's front of minmatar get owned in battle...and once again they show their power of freeing their own capsules from exploding tempests and typhoons.
Congratulations to the Amarr empire with a victory. Be wary though....slavery is an evil action that will bring manny of your people to death...and when minmatars who can actually fight oppose you...their vengence shall be fierce. If I were in Pie inc. I would want to seek out much better suited enemies to engage to keep myself in check with fighting skills. The people's front is not an opponent that takes much to kill.

the only NOINT in active combat i've ever seen was admiral iceblock.
and even this one i saw mostly docked or tryin to fool us with frigattes and shuttles as soon as more than 2 PIE members where in local.
admiral you can't save your megathron forever!
the day will come all your warp core stabilizers will turn out to be useless!
the lesser can not survive!

I think the most interesting thing here is that PIE goes into Minmatar space, has a successful operation against Minmatar forces, and suddenly everybody wants to point out the weaknesses of Blacksheep, a multiracial corporation that has offered to help the CVA carry their burden of fighting terrorist forces.
But 3 minmatar battleships are still dead, and the Empire is still being protected.
This weekend indeed saw the loss of several Blacksheep vessels to NOINT forces. One of our newer members did in fact leave the corporation. We'll see to our losses and continue the fight.
It pleases me that Blacksheep can provide a distraction for the enemies of the empire, and cause them to lose focus. However, don't expect us to remain an easy target. Each time I sortie my men, I teach them something new...and my personal losses are easily covered.

I would first Like to congradulate every Ammarrian who helped out in this operation. I myself was only able to make it intime to help bring down the enemy Tempest. I am glad the speed of Singollo was able to prevent the escape of the terrorist befor its destruction. It was aa good frig and shall be remade.
As for the comments about Black Sheep Squad. That is a fruitless attack by those wishing to find victory when they have none. Black sheep quad is doing well from what i've seen and having had them along in operations I can say that their skills are growing quickly. It will not be long befor it will be NOINT reporting heavy losses on their side of the battle.

No one asked for your opinion, in fact I do not recognise your name. Care to enlighten us as to your real owner?
Whilst these are sad losses, I note that it seemed to take 12 and 17 pilots respectively each time to take out one battleship.
If enough fire power is concentrated, then even a tanked battleship stands no chance, as you well know.

thats because they need a large ammount of scramblers as your pilots tend to (always) equip multiple warp stabs

well i must say NOINT have had a lot of victorys, almost no battles lost.
NOINT have had minimal loses in this war, and it will continue like that.
(see the kill list for a "overview" of NOINT Vs CVS over what have been destroyed, i have not bothered to add n00b ships kills and shuttles... if anything is missing then contact me)

With all due respect my fellow enemy..
The only Friends of Matar Battleship that has been destroyed as far i know is my own Tempest - due to CTD
during Battle against Risith, Kular and vladic (not sure)
All you could achieve before i crashed was to down my shields by 30%. And i admit, chances were odd as i was outnumbered and my only Allie - the Admiral
had to pull out a moment earlier.
Even though you fighted good and fair (despite the podding accident during my CTD-Absence - (i have no doubts
it was an accident, so stand down friends and allies))
However, none of the kills you describe here
were a loss of the Friends of Matar.
I believe "FOM" will uphold the pressure
while our Friends from the Peoples Republic and TPFM
(and myself) get the time to recover.

All true, Iceblock. However, this public announcement is about a CVA victory over Friends of Matar. Not about your kill count against Blacksheep.
The mentioning of Blacksheep losses by AsheRaven is what Kular was referring to as "fruitless attacks" by those seeking to find victory in their loss.
I'll be sure to get with you personally so you can update your list of kills. You have proven a wiley opponent, but hardly a fearsome one. Enjoy the sweet taste of victory while it is still fresh in your mouth. And be on your toes.

Let's not get hung up on silly details here...who's a member of what. Hardin announced a PIE victory over terrorist forces, Blacksheep were used as a compensation for the losses. If folks want to talk about shooting down Blacksheep vessels, let them make their own announcement.

Apologies for the confusion Zoolkhan, but I think the point Hardin made in his news story was that Minmatar terrorists (wherver they come from) took one on the chin over the weekend.
It's swings and roundabouts anyway. Hardin also said that CVA had suffered some losses recently. It's just encouraging for all loyal Amarrians to see that they can fly safely thanks to the work and sacrifice of PIE and its allies.
As for your CTD (total ship systems failure as I like to call them), we've all had them in mid battle. I've lost a ship to that before myself, but what are you gonna do? S.hit happens.

This is true.. i should get over it.
But if CVA thinks it is important to to mention that BS is not CVA, then id like to make clear it was not FOM-Losses
you are so proud about.
Even though, we are sad about the losses as if that were FOM-Members.
And i can imagine that we will certainly help to roll out
proper judgement.
