Anyone heard of 'Roving Guns'? I saw them in "action" today and they were pathetic.
Just wondering if they have any history.
I kno, wishing for forum search tool myself.... |

Only thing I know about them is that they fight in game, not on forums.

Roving Guns is a very respectable corp with roots in beta.
One of the best corp out there with a leader to match.

I know they hang out all the way down in syndicate now and then. I think they mine there mostly, aren't they pirate hunters or something?

Talk all the smack you want about Roving Guns here. **** happens ingame and leads to ppl getting killed. You don't always win every stinking battle, and from what I know, it was all a big batch of miscommunication.
Roving Guns is one of the most respectable corps out there and my closest ally.

Cheeba... First, we were not on TS together on the same server, you were.
Secondly, it was not our fleet who had a pilot screaming he was attacked target jammed and warp scrambled every time he was targeted by someone.
So I return that argument to you, in the chain of events that occured, every single step that escalated the was caused by one of your pilots. You should know who I'm talking about.
We were the ones who repeatedly stepped down from aggression and ceased fire, only to be destroyed by your rampant pilots who couldn't care less.
Check with your CEO for details. Even though you were on TS your commander had little if any control of your pilots.

Kociak200 is hinting at a friendly fire accident between Revolution and Roving Guns. Kociak200 was sitting at some save spot and was talking smack on local, that's about it. Once everything was cleared up, I came to pick up the leftovers from my corp mates, as discussed with Revolution before I came in. Revolution and RG were friends, not enemies, and what happend was ****ty. But the worst of all that happend was Kociak200!

There was a certain noob flavor to their ways and I could easily perceive it. Some in the thread confirmed my suspicion.
Trying to kill my pod with a Scorpion was pretty clumsy. There are ways to do that if you want to pod me, but not the way you went about it RG. It was low class and lame RG. You didn't destroy my ship, you had no business trying to pod me. I was no enemy of yours. Why one of your guys tried to impose sensless violence on my pod? But as I said, you did this in a clumsy manner and had no chance of succeeding. That's why you had to put up with me for the rest of the night.
And why oh why wasn't I suprised when your foolish hubris, stemming no doubt from having several BS travel together in pack, collapsed like a deck of cards?
Hubris brought down many a tough guy, Vortex.

lol dstangle. r u denying ur corp heritage or sumtin lol. ive been in RG for quite some time now, and RG is a very organized corp from the most ive seen, powerful, friendly, and there arnt many corps out there thats been around for a long time. RG keeps true and doesnt take kindly to pirates.

Well yes Kociak, although I fail to see where that hybris you'te talking about would come from? All I see is some little noob guy trying to get attention. Assuming that we would listen to your comments would be wrong. I know RG, I founded it, in EVE anyway. The truth is RG has been around for a very long time... since 1997. We have honor and traditions u know little about.
