Every once in a while a "Ship Name Thread", this is one of them. Post your ship names and why "if you so feel like it".
Manifest Destiny- If anyone asks why i killed them i'll say "Manifest Destiny man. If I wasn't meant to kill you I wouldn't be able to"
Lost Hope- Just depressing for your enemies to see.
Baitship "on my ratting ship"- Makes hostiles hesitate and think "maybe this is a trap".

Maelstrom - Black Pearl. (It just really reminds me of the black pearl tbh...)
Sacrilege - Nexusone. (Named after an old friend who helped me alot in my starting days of eve, it was the ship i was aiming for as a long term goal and incidently the ship he flew alot of the time.)
Nighthawk - Drakensoul.
Falcon - Incoming!.
And i have a ship named after my corp "Firestorm's Spirit".
Think thats it...

Hmm, I have never known a hurricane "both the ship and the real thing" to be in any way, shape, and form silent. They come in with a bang, vaporize everything in their path, you can't miss em, and you can't expect them to miss you either.

My PVP Raven: JAPANIMATION (I was bored, I got the raven while we were having some pewpew, so I just typed it in)
Drake: NO TOUCHING [JOHLI] (so no one accidentally takes it, although i doubt it will stop them)
Manti- Commie Blaster
Crow: The Fume
Moa: Not a (if it ever gets popped, the wreck will show as "not a wreck", so...)
I have a few more ships, but they are named for their use, example being anti-ceptor or something like that.

All my ships are named after pies so it's 'Pork', 'Apple', 'Shepherds' etc etc apart from my Recon which is called Boot.ini because it disappears.

Capitals: I named them after different areas in RL (lack of imagination I guess).
Faction fitted and rigged ships: 1 promille, 2 promille and so forth (the alcohol level I need in my system before I take them out in PvP... wich only happens during drunken ops).
Kestrel: The Fridge (very very special ship and has only one purpose, maybe someone really clever might figure out why it's called that).
Raptor: Lost Patrol
Vulture: Instigator (lame but noone has stolen it yet).
Buzzard: Annoying, Impotent
Dictor: Linebacker
Drake: Bemyfriend
and lots of others...

I've named all my dominixes T.U.R.D with a roman numeral. I got up to T.U.R.D. XXIV before I got sick of drones.
I had a few ships called 'SS Fully Insured' as a bit of a laugh when I was doing missions in low-sec
Lately I've been making up names that play on the type of ship, so Zealot is called 'Sell It', etc
Of course in fleets you name your ship to play tricks on the enemy, so if my job is to tank I'll call it 'Lindsay Fox's Vindicator' to make sure I'm primaried, or if I'm flying a Vindicator it will be 'Lindsay Fox's Enyo' to make sure I'm not :)
