Well hello there, CAOD reader! I just stopped by to check in. It's a pity I can't stay longer. But I have plans to make a return trip someday soon.
One hundred days after the "Why is BoB Losing?" series was launched on CAOD, an accounting was made of BoB's progress in the war. In that time, BoB's northern allies had lost control of five regions; BoB itself had lost control of two regions and was on its way to collapse in others. BoB's sole achievement was to gain control of part of the Catch region.
It has been another one hundred days.
Since then...
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Feythabolis region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Esoteria region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Paragon Soul region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Catch region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Querious region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Fountain region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of the Period Basis region.
* Band of Brothers lost control of part of Delve, the final region.
This has been the second one hundred days.

Despite my membership in an alliance that fights with BoB from time to time, I have made great strides in maintaining total objectivity in news coverage of the Great War (also frequently referred to as the "Glorious War of Patriotic Righteousness Against the Evil Tyranny of BoB"). For example, in my last multiple of a hundred days post, I balanced BoB's losses with the news that they had secured part of Catch. This time, there is unfortunately no good news of any kind for BoB, making it more difficult to balance things.
That's why I decided to ask some BoB members for comment. It was from them I learned that I may have unintentionally biased my reports by focusing on regions. After all, territorial war in Eve isn't just about territory, it's also about kill to death ratios.
I have therefore spent a lot of time and effort in compiling a comprehensive kill/loss record for Goonfleet over the course of the war. After the tedious counting of many thousands of killmails, here it is:

I dont get the k/d ratio, isnt it supposed to have numbers? I would also include ship classes since 200 t1 frigates= 1 t2 battleship

They're bitter because they're comprised of members of failed alliances. A majority of these nits are ex LV/RISE/FIX etc. Much like the rest they can talk all the trash they want right up until they have nothing left to talk about. Then they can bandwagon off the whatever the consider "The Next Big Thing" not realizing that the reason they've failed repeatedly is probably because of them.

Nope, most if not all didn't have that. It's a fair point to make.
Even still, they've still come under more pressure than almost any other alliance has and haven't cascade failed yet like so many did and would have. RA was brought to the brink, your own alliance was too, BoB is being pressured in the same way now and they're still fighting. This is what makes those three alliances (and some others) so dangerous.

I'm slightly bewildered as to the reaction from the eve community. I'm not going to sit here and counter argue everyone's posts and break down each post. The fact of the matter is most people complain about not knowing whats going on in eve and various parts of it. Consider this a war story with James 315's own twist.
I don't think anywhere anyone has said we are going to bulldoze BoB. Nowhere have we (by "we" I mean the leadership of Goonswarm) set aims of taking BoB space in a month. I think at most pilots have said we are in it to pew pew no matter whether its in Querious or Delve.
We've lulled our opponents into a false sense of confidence. Oh, yes. Everything is going according to plan. Those fools, they think they can win... by winning. |

Sorry to correct you dear mittens, but I don't think you are including the station in 3BK, that was taken in an operation By IAC & Iron that blew up a tower that BOB were repping when RSF forces vacated qy6 briefly. This resulted in the great strategist Mollie pushing the emergency button and piling everyone and their grandmother into qy6 including the repping crew. So the tower was not restronted. The system fell to Neutrality and flipped the next day. IRON took the station, and congratulations to them.
TPAR, QY6, V2, C3n, 3bk.. oh you did include it. sorry my bad. Still i have to admit losing 5 stations in 11 days is a Stirling BOB achievement. I hear they are allowing J-l to be sterilized too and are pulling towers out of it. Those that are not going offline...
