[Insurgency] Battle Report AH- Bloodbath.

We jumped into their camp and our focused fire and combined with better fleet makeup resulted in what can only be described as a whitewash. 8 ships lost, 44 destroyed. This battle is possibly the most important of the day as it gave us control of AH- all day and that proved pretty crucial. We concentrated our hold on AH-. The enemy pos was bubbled again and we continued to gank pilots who were being bounced out of poses and we continued to whittle away the numbers of enemy ships in Ah- around 17:00 h we were getting scouts out and ensuring we knew what we were doing. Things quietened down for a while. We got the odd gank here or there but it was pretty dead until around 8pm. then all hell breaking loose. 40 odd enemies in system. Multiple cap ships. 100+ next door in j7yr. We've got a thanatos playing (from what we can see) chicken at the pos. Why, he's decided to do this I'll never know but sure enough he pokes his nose out of the sheilds. Our rapier pilot uncloaks and double webs him and even though he dies, we drop out of warp on the carrier and using short range high damage ammo we vapourise him. As we're finishing this thanatos we're hearing from a scout that NNC are on the ah- gate in j7yr and jumping in. We're aligned to J7yr already so we get to speed and warp to our snipe spot, switching to long range ammo etc on the way. Although we initially landed on the other side of the gate tot heir bs leaving us out of range of them...... we actually landed at perfect range to give their support a good slapping. The result shocked me to be honest. We lost next to nothing (15) but killed 105 enemy ships in the inital engagement at their pos and then on the gate jump in. The enemy warped to their pos leaving us to loot the field. The end, or so we thought. Having successfully held the gate we decided to go bubble the pos. With that bubbled we were confident we could continue to gank bouncers and people who accidentally left shields. before the bubbles could go up, the enemy bs fleet (which was still quite sizeable) left and started sitting in safe spots just off planet 8. We sneakily got our probers and dictors to work and before we knew it we had their whole fleet not only scanned down but bubbled. The bs entered warp, short range high damage ammo loaded. Time to put an end to the invasion. We landed literally at zero. Quake L is a nasty thing to happen at point blank on unaligned slow moving targets. We started to melt their battleships before they could get out of the bubbles. Our scouts reported an enemy Nidhoggur left the shields and moved right into path of another of our rapiers. It was double webbed and the rest of our fleet gleefully dropped out of warp right on top of the poor cap pilot. His ship melted. It was midnight eve time at this point and in the last 12 hours we've killed at least 220 enemy ships and lost approx 30. killmails are still comming in, and lossmails beeing posted, 7.5 billion isk DMG done. In my 5 years playing this messures up to the famous UQ Graveyard........ Stats can best be READ at the INSRG killboard. // C4w3.
