We are selling off two ECM Multispectral Jammer BPOs
For those who seek to corner the market or further grow their manufacturing business, please provide your bids.
Research levels of the two BPOs are:
BPO 1 - ME25, PE25
BPO 2 - ME5, PE0
The manufacturing time is 1 hour and 33 minutes at a normal station at high skills.
The bill of material on the BPO reads (before PE):
- 1 ECM mulitspectral I
- 2 Gravimetric Sensor Cluster
- 9 Isogen
- 2 Laser Sensor Cluster
- 2 Magnetometric Sensor Cluster
- 12 Miniature Electronics
- 6 Morphite
- 9 Nocxium
- 3 Photon Microprocessor
- 1 R.A.M.- Electronics (45% damage per run)
- 2 Radar Sensor Cluster
- 8 Transmitter
Returns per year: according to my calculation at cost of materials at Jita are 8-9 billion profit per year.
Prices paid at similar auctions: are roughly 4-5 annual profits, equaling a return of 20-25% per year, please check:
sacrilege which earns roughly 9 bln profit per annum sold at 40 bln
absolution which earns roughly 14 bln profit per annum, sold at 60-65 bln
Start bid: 19 billion ISK per BPO
Reserve: 29 billion per BPO
Buy-out: 39 billion per BPO
Minimum bid interval: 1 billion
End time: Sunday February 17, 2008, 21:00 Eve time
Sniper rule: 10 minutes
Type of bid: If you want to bid please indicate you price for:
- BPO-1
- BPO-2
- Both BPOs (optional for those who want BPO-1 & BPO-2)
Winner: Please be aware that if the the highest bid for BOTH BPOs is higher than the two highest bids for BPO-1 and BPO-2 combined, the bidder for BOTH BPOs will win.

Current build price at Jita market rates with that Bill of Materials: 1.237M
Current Jita sell price: 1.65M
Minimum profit/unit: 413k
Minimum profit/day: 6.39M
Minimum profit/year: 2.3B
There are a lot of things you can do to enhance the profit, of course, but this should give you an idea of the ballpark expectation.

So let me get this straight, if I use buyout I need around 17 years to make my isk back?

For my calculations I have used:
- sales prices 1,8 mln ISK (last 3-4 days Jita was 1,65mln, before that 2mln) - please check for yourself in other regions and determine your bid on your own beliefs
- cost price of 263,000 ISK based on the bill of materials (not taking into account waste factor of 0,38% and ME levels) and with component prices I determined roughly one month ago
- profit of 1,5 mln ISK
- production time of 1 hour and 33 minutes for BPO-1 (with my F60 manufacturing implant), not taking into account PE-levels or possible POS production

facts:
-Ship BPOs sell at considerably higher prices than modules (even if they generate no profit at all), so the above comparision is flawed.
-This BPO generates approximately 9b ISK a year.
As for my opinion, I think the seller will prolly get offers of about 15-16b for his BPO, which he won't accept. Then again, it his BPO, and if you don't like the price, nobody can force you to bid. |

Thx Sir, agree with the profit calc you made. It might be higher still at non Jita sales prices.
On the BPO value / BPO profit multiple, I agree that people pay very high prices for ship BPOs, they even pay multiples of 100 plus, as some BPOs sold produce ships which can not be sold at a profit at all....
