The whole Eve experience isn't just related to the skills or the ships. Try to have a higher goal than that.

This a common mistake that younger players make. They train gunnery but tend to forget about drones/electronics/engineering/navigation/mechanic etc. There is a lot more to it than just gunnery/missile skills. In fact it is advisable to train the skills I listed above first because they benefit all ships without exception, while skills related to a particular gun type or missiles are only useful on a handful of ships of one or two races.
In short, train support skills, come back when you have 30-ish million sp and then ask "wtf to do now??". Although I bet you will know exactly what you want by then  .

You can be sure that I will :D and you got me with drones and mechanics. But with caldari pathetic dronebays I don't see a reason to have drones at least past the point of hammerheads t2
