Please ban the following characters: Ranworth Plank RInama Sent
Please ban them for the following reason:
Quote:
The rule concerning non-consensual combat includes starbases and starbase structures.
I send them 3 eve mails with message not to atack my POS in FD-MLJ as that is a violation of server rules. They ignored my mails.
They started to atack my R&D POS on SISI. They started atack is not a mistake or a return fire incident.. its a prolonged atack with multiple members on my pos without my concent!

Its not about the isk, its about the work that got into this pos and they clearly disobaying test server rules by bringing down my test pos. The ignored multiple eve mails with warnings over a prolonged period of time, so please ban those 2!

he has the right to ask for them to be banned, these people should know the rules and you aren't allowed to take someone elses POS down as its the TEST server...most of those POSs are put up for testing purposes...

Edited by: Toolivus on 11/02/2008 03:27:03 The problem is that he can't finish testing whatever it was he was using the POS for. If you want to test shooting POSes then you put your own up. If you want to grief people without risk then you can play on tq.
While I'm here, Id recommend doing any actual testing well away from fd-

Because what he was testing in his POS is not being sieged.
They may have interrupted him reproducing a bug that will annoy us if not properly reported, it's crap.
It makes sense not to attack an online pos on sisi because it means someone uses it and if not asking for it to be attacked is testing something else.
Well, if it was named 'attack me' then it's your fault, but I guess not... -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast !

dont be a tard
he didnt want the pos shot at.. he was testing RnD on it and mybe was trying to reproduce a bug. Test server is to test things.. if he wanted hes pos tested under siege.. he would have asked for it. as seen, he didnt. that means the guys shooting hes pos broke the rules

OP, i agree with you 100%, they should be banned. But might I suggest, instead of sending mails, you should start a convo with them or fly to the pos and talk to them through local. Mails are something easily missed. Could save you the trouble of putting a new one up.

People who don't read the test server rules need to be removed from the test server.

A request to put these guys on a leash/ban would be better sent through a petition. Do remember to include details for faster service once a GM gets to the petition. _______________________________

Petitions on the test server go unread as no one checks them. It would be better if he talked to a BH / lead / dev in the eve-chaos IRC channel.

The OP has every right to ask for these people to be banned even if he didn't send them mail asking them to stop attacking his POS.
The rules for SiSi are there for good reason, it is a test server which is supposed to be used to test things not go around destroying other peoples work because you have some sort of idea that you can do what you want. sadly it seems that some people either don't read the rules or just don't care about them for whatever reason.
Now posting this on the forums might not have been the greatest of ideas but who knows maybe the OP was just not sure of what to do so he worded a post as best he could to request they get banned to see what other people thought and hopefully also get some sort of action from a dev/Gm or who ever.
Now if the people say they didn't know the rules then really that is no excuse as it is really just an excuse that is as lame as and really it is like someone else stated ignorance is no excuse.
Anyway to the OP do as someone has suggested and try talking to someone over the IRC chat OR try to find one of the BH or GM's/Devs ingame and talk to them. You are doing the right thing and it probably isn't the first time this sort of thing has been done by these people.

So many people don't read the name of the arena and don't know the rules in SiSi. I sit in a Consensual Combat Arena and get attacked...people go to the wrong arena in the wrong ship and fight others...people fight outside of the arenas...come on people, its all consensual unless at a FFA Arena...

pretty sure thats because all petitions and the like end up being sent to GM's who handle things for Tranq only, and the "post here so someone will see it" system is a kludge to get around that.
