For the past week or so, I have been unable to stay logged in to the forums. After I am prompted to login when attempting to post or reply, I get dumped back to the forum selection screen. Then, when navigating back to the post, I somehow lose my login between pages. I tried using two windows and just refreshing one after logging in, but as soon as I hit reply it's like a 50/50 chance I'll have to repeat the process over again. Is this is shared problem or a feature designed to slow down the forums? |

No it started happening to me too about a week ago, bloody annoying (vista x64, firefox)

Same here, if it logs in in one go, it redirects me to the forum index... and that is IF it logs me in in one go...
I'v even had times that I had to clear all my cookies from the eve-online website because the website threw me in an endless re-direct loop (thats what firefox told me anyway..)

I don't stay logged either, but it's been a quite long time it does this.
It relogs you automatically when you click something you need to be logged to use, the bad part is the redirection to the root of the forum, but hit back, click again on reply or post (most common actions) and it works...

There is an issue with the forum server. My understanding of the problem is that when you log on and then start browsing the forum you can be moved from box to box, at any stage of browsing the server can "forget" you're logged on and log you off.
I agree it's annoying and suggest that you save any post you make, especially if it's long, prior to posting - ctrl c + ctrl v or ctrl x & ctrl v will save you from post loss frustration.

Well i found checking the remember me box and telling firefox to remember the pwrd too got rid of it (rather it just logs back in each kick) but saving passwords in browsers is a bad habit to get into imo.
