I know my first "Damage Dealer" is not posted yet, here, but it happens to all my first videos, wich were done in our main language. Otherwise, I hope this video will give you some fun.

Sorry about that. My computer is 3 years all... almost 4... and altough I play in 1400x1000, and rec in FULL SIZE, that's what fraps give me in max quality.

Good movie, i hope your not turning the Maelstrom into the next ganking fotm, next thing you know ppl start using that and the Raven in solo pvp, and we all know that these ships "cannot" solo pvp. :P
I won't comment on the Vaga with 220's carbines. :)
PS: Those 2 hardeners were Invuls t2 ?
PPS: Nano cane has the grid for 425's and those deal better damage overall. :)

I have never used Raven in solo mode, and never will. Maelstrom has only 1 bad thing to do it, but with more isk you can change some fitting to have it ok. Otherwise, with less money you can have an easily and better ship as damage dealer. I know, but I have specialized in Minmatar...
Machariel is more expensive, and to have the same tank you must to pay more, in ship and fitting, to have less dps... and only because of a webber.

What's "nano cane"? Hurri? I have used it, too, and I like it. You can have a good dps with good tank, or an amazing dps with a passive one. As you can see, i could put down a command fast, but he de-aggroed.

I know it's not what exactly gank neutron mega, hype, when you compare it and you have no way of webbing, but you get tired of using and watching these fotm's left and right. Not to mention that 800's t2 are cheaper than neutron blasters t2. :)
I use a similar setup to yours - no mwd and a simple x-l c5-l booster instead of a DG one which also gives me room for 3 hardeners instead of 2, and so far i'm impressed with it's tanking potential with combat booster and overload. :)
Yours probably tanks better because of the 20% lower cycle on the DG booster from the start.
Very good vid, "new" - i explained what i meant by that in the first paragraph, stuff. :)

The first gate you jump when solo, if there is a gang camping, the sooner you lose your ship. I allways go out for pvp with my MWD fitted. And I remove something, it would be the disruptor if I am going in gang. Althought I'd prefer to donŠt remove anything.
I have flied 4 races in different chars. I know about the others, and still happy with Minmatar in some ships. I prefer to use that ship instead of others not because of the easy way to kill: As I said, it's easier for a starter to do pvp in Megathron, plated, with magstabs, etc...
My first pvp BS was a Rokh in the start of 2007.

YEs... unfortunately, today I did a BIG BIG mistake going to windows screen when I jumped to see evemon (skill finished in one char), and when going into eve, I was 18km far from gate, webbed, neutralized, and attacked by 2 BS, 1 faction of them... Did what I could.
If I would have been where I should (looking eve screen), I would have warped off with mwd far from my attackers.
DonŠt worry, I will refit, this time I hope better, a new Damage Dealer... Maybe "Damage Dealer 3" as starring Ship.
