Oktacon	Posted - 2008.02.13 22:38:00 - [1] This Setup is in a Gang only. 6x Siege Missile Launcher II 2x Invulnerability Field 1x Heavy Electrochemical Booster -800 1 X-Large Shield Booster II 2x Shield Boost Amplifier II's 3 BCU II's 1 Alpha Reactor Control: Reaction Control 1x Co Processor II 2x Core Defence Capacitor Sa***uard 1x Anti Em Screen Reinforce 1x 3% Implant With my Skills this gets me 665 Tank, and 740 DPS. ( Still Training Missile Skills) What improvements can I make? In before Active Tank Suxxorz.

You have no mobility at all, and you are relying on your gang to web, point and paint? It'll work. Provided you do have the support to web, point and paint. And assuming you don't expect to have to move in real space, to get out of a bubble, or close up with something that's been webbed just outside your torp range. However I'm assuming you're posting on a forums to solicit opinions, and I am a man of many opinions. I don't like flying ships without microwarp drives. I've just had too many situations where I've needed it. I would also suggest you look towards ancillary current routers as your rigs, and fit some heavy neutralisers. Also, T2 injector fits 5x 800 charges, rather than 4, which is handy. An alpha reaction control is a bad idea. It's only a 5% RCU, where a power diagnostic system is the same. Or a 'normal' reactor control is 10%. Even if you're that tight on CPU, I'd lose drop a shield boost amplifier for another hardener instead. Oh, and don't forget the drones :). -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking?

Range can be an issue - no MWD and 30km range, but with javelins you can hit up to 45km and that's enough tbh.

Now the rigs - 2 x rocket fuel cache partitions 1 x hydraulic bay thruster With my skills that gets me to 39k with high damage torps, 59k with long range as a note: 2 painters for high damage, 1 for long range seems to work perfectly fine. also i have a 5% velocity implant in that char. Just get useto being called in as fire support once your tacklers have done their thing and you will be fine. For anything less than a BS(and even then sometimes) use your javelin torps and the damage vs them is pretty damn good. Ill have to have a play with your setup on my raven ;)

Its a nice effective, but your range is rather limited :s Although i admit i do remove the range mods for some setups(dual navy smartbombs for one). For the drones 2x25, 2x10 and 1x5 yeah? I havnt tried those yet, how effective are they?

You should at least have a signal distortion amp or an ECM rig - and you're gonna want to have more than 1 jammer, because in most likely hood you're not going to get many if any jam cycles before you're shot to pieces with 0 tank. A single RSD? Again to do what? Your target will still be able to lock you since you're at short range with torps, you're a BS so a lock time script wont help much either. Either go with 3 RSD's or don't use 'em. I don't have a problem with fitting EWAR on a Raven - but for God's sake, focus on something - you're just slapping every EWAR you can, a jack of all trades and a master of none. You'll get a surprised reaction from some with that setup for sure (as in wow that Raven dropped fast!) Not burning you bro - just trying to say if you think outside the box - make sure it is still effective at your surprise tactic - the setup you posted is not. __________________________________________________ Sup brosef!
