Even doing our own tests, we got a recon's scan resolution up to xxxx and are still unable to catch a ship using this. I honestly believe it should be considered an exploit.

If it weren't a gate camp of fail you'd follow the target through with a couple tacklers and a damage dealer. (And get the **** off of an empire chokepoint like a pilot with a pair if that's where you're camping). I can't believe how easy it is to get away from a 40-ship camp of fail in a cruiser or a dictor.

Lol i cant bloiting believe that you wanna nerf mwding back to the gate..i mean fer the love of god..hmm no that sounds to amarrian...for the love of gameplay why the hell does some one from hedonistic want to nerf mwding back to the gate? what the heck is broken with it? its been there ever since the beginnings of eve..well..nearly anyways..everytime you jump your mwd should be disabled for 5 secS? Sure so what if:
Your camping a gate both side. One side is being utterly out blobbed and you need to all jump in ASAP to help them out..but oh wait! you cannot mwd to your targets right away because you made a stupid rule you cannot mwd after jumping into a system! whoopeh!
sorry but i really dont get it anymore with you ppl whining about cloaks..it been around forever you really overdue with ur whine..shouldve figured it out after it got introduced..not just now since its apprently gone "broken" for some reason after a looong time.

I am hereby placing a 20M bounty on Night Tripper. If you manage to pod kill him, send me an eve-mail in-game. We'll make arrangements to collect his corpse and transfer the ISK.
I will also want to see the kill-mail.
PS: Stop crying and learn to play the game. There ARE counters to this. It's called someone one of either side of the gate with a WEB. Works like a charm. Try it sometime.

PvPers want to nerf any possible means of escaping gate camps. At the same time they also want to nerf the lvl 4 missions rewards in high sec to force mission runners into low sec. In other words PvPers want to choke the life out of Eve.
I know, you all haven't ever said that but those two changes alone are more than enough to drive me and a good dozen of my friends out of the game. If I outfit a Raven so that it has a prayer of escaping a gate camp and I can barely handle level 4 missions. Therefore I chose to run missions with one account and play in low sec with the other. One account makes the money to pay for the loses in ships and materials that the other account looses.
Give it up. Accept that you will loose some people based on a very narrowly defined ship build.

Players that jump into a gate camp should always die and should never have a chance to escape. I mean you have to be freaking stupid to jump into a camp, it's not like you can't see them coming when you jump to begin with.
So if you see a gate camp on the other side of the gate, don't jump!

The guys that are camping need to have one person with a high scan res and a point NOT AGGRO the target, and have them jump when the target jumps...
Problem solved... Holy cow that was hard to think of...

I don't believe there should be a way to escape death when you've ignorantly jumped into a proper gate camp.
I think there's a problem and I think it's MWD. They are nothing like their name implies. They should be called Uber Afterburners. Either that or warp disrupters should reduce their speed boost. A Vagabond that has four webs and six points on it should not be able to get 15km back to the gate in two seconds. Period.
Also, there should be a more robust jump timer. You shouldn't be able to jump again for sixty seconds.
The only 100% "I win" against gatecamps should be outgunning the camp or avoiding it.
