Matalino Gallente Ki Tech Industries	Posted - 2008.02.16 05:10:00 - [1] I am wondering what frequency faction items drop as loot in missions. Previously I thought that faction loot only dropped from faction spawns. Given that those are not found in missions, I figured that was the end of it. After running missions for over two and half years, I have never seen a faction mod drop in a mission. However, today, much to my delight, I picked up a Dread Guristas Statis Webifier from a level 3 storyline mission. So how long have these been dropping in missions?
Arkedon Caldari Pegasus Knights	Posted - 2008.02.16 06:25:00 - [2] Certain missions have a rare chance of spawning a "boss" ship. This ship has a rare chance of dropping a faction module. Worlds Collide lvl 4 is one of those missions. I have only done the Gurista and Serpentis versions. I am not sure about the other WC faction missions.
Hasak Rain Amarr	Posted - 2008.02.16 11:04:00 - [3] I once had two Blood plates drop in two separate lvl 4 storyline missions but never got anything like that in any regular mission. The plates were nothing great either. They were EM resistance plates.

They are supposed to only be rare spawns in extra rooms of a few missions. You need card or tags to unlock the secret room gate and then inside that room has a chance to supposedly spawn this rare mob that has a chance to drop good loot. I have only heard about this "tale". I never met anyone who actually has got rare loot via this method. Kinda like a finding a purple elephant... does it actually happen or is this all a myth people have propagated? any real confirmations from people? Rig Ship Repackage Solution
Seetesh Caldari Pixels Docks	Posted - 2008.02.16 11:13:00 - [5] Ive had a few drops from Gurt Extrav, most was a DG invun worth 300mil isk so it is worth it, but you need a Diamond tag to access the last stage of the mission and a little luck.

Worlds collide spawns Faction overseer's. I think it's linked to the number of times the gate is activated(noticed they often appear when fleeting or salvaging without turning in), those have a pretty low chance of dropping any in my experience though. Cant think of any more off the top of my head. --- Also available in 'sober'

I did the bonus stages maybe 10-15 times in my entire eve career (usually I just declined the missions because of comparably bad isk/time) and pulled ONE crappy faction item from them. The faction overseer in WC is way more frequent, but since it is the lowest or second lowest faction BS possible, it usually drops junk as well. I DID get two high grade pirate implants out of them though plus numerous lesser faction items. I guess if you run guristas version, you can hit the mother lode if you score a DG invul. My Sanshas and Angels regrettably don't posses such uber items :( There is no 'n' in turret There is no 'r' in faction There is no 'a' in Scorpion There is no 'e' in Caldari There is no makeup in rogue drones

The angel is a battlestation, and in guristas is a little overseers structure that dies in a volley. I have gotten a DG Invuln on guristas one, and a crappy EM armor hard from angels. I got 2 in Level 4 and 3 in the Level 3 Version so fare and I done a lot of them... Edit: I haven't gotten anything really worthwhile from bonus rooms yet, though I always make sure to blow up the battlestation and check the stashes for goodies. I've gotten the Serpentis Overseer (faction variant) in WC4 fairly recently. Dropped junk (Serp Iron L and a tag, IIRC), but the bounty was 7m or so. So 2 ravens should be no prob, if any jamming frigs are dealt with?

Bonus room GG on lvl 3 is way too easy, just one BS, nothing compared to angels 4 BS, and palladium tag is not spent too on GG.

They usually don't aggro until you engage them. --- Also available in 'sober'

The Overseer on the Gurista side of WC4 dropped faction ammo a couple of times for me. x1000 Guristas Tungsten L one time and x1000 Guristas Scourge Heavy Missiles another time. The third time it only dropped regular T1 loot. The bonus room in GE4, I have looted a DG Co-Processor and a DG Dual 250mm Railgun.

If it is, could explain why my agent now likes to give me The Damsel in Distress far too many times recently Just how many times do I have to kill Zor for him to get the message? IÆve heard from several people that this has happened to them and they got decent faction gear as a result. Mind you, if you were running say a tough lvl 3 mission and an officer spawn appeared whilst you were webbed and scrambledà That which does not kill us makes us stronger. Have you just not run alot of missions? 2 month old toon... and so far from what I remember so far two low grade snakes [serpentis] have dropped for me .. a dark blood armor hardner last week [grrr! sold cheap to corpie, gimme faction shield hardners next time!]... a non-faction T2 implant. these from lvl 2's and lvl 3's. weird stuff like 10m R&D book, and way too many gun implants [loot drops, not rewards] for this missile user. Only run a couple lvl4s so really havent done enough to see the rare drops. The snakes and hardener... no bonus room that I know of... I assume by bonus room needing a key and this is a room that is not required to complete the mission.
