Here is a intersting question ... If tomorrow you were somehow magicaly transported to the universe of eve body and all how would you react and what would you do to survive.
The rule of thumb for reply to this thread is anything that is currently in the game is available but what you do will have to be self consistent and logical ie the people and places will be real and will react accordingly. For instance setting up a dark fortress of slaves in a 0.4 system in Gallante space will probably attract media attention followed by the local cops/navy unless you have a way to hide what you are doing or produce enough isk to grease the right palms.
Also please assume that you will be starting as a rookie pod pilot.

I would go to ebay, buy a new clone there with a Nightmare, and a dread with honourtank 
In all seriousness: I would do some missions, update my clone, train some skills, and finally do PvP, and loads of it :D

I'd probably be doing the same thing I'm doing now, only.. Real.
Ex., PvP, Mine, Rat hunt, the usual stuff..

i would check in with the blood raiders to see if they would allow me to join their cult. then i would proceed to drink large quantites of delicious clone blood. not much different from my real life, but in space. every thing is just cooler in space.

Pleasure hubs and i would visit the damsel, maybe i would hide her by myself, teaching her a safe way to travell without being cought by the bad guys :)

I would march to my nearest academy and buy a few learning skills, after runnign a few navy missions. I woudl then sit back in the station trying to get a job untill I can actually fly my velator...

Yes, of course it is. It's one of the words that actually makes sense to be in the filter.
Anyway. Assuming being transferred to the EVE universe, or if the EVE universe became real, and I was a Capsuleer rather than a generic pleb, I'd do exactly as I do now. Basically nothing.
If I wasn't a Capsuleer, well.. I don't know. I don't really know what non-Capsuleers actually do

Well as a pod pilot I'd look down on other people with my godlike powers.
Then I'd go pirate for real in a Hurricane battlecruiser filled to the brink with dancers, booze and slave hounds

Well asides from having some fun popping carebears I think I would try to infiltrate Jovian society and definitly try to make off with one of their ships, and hey ccp wouldn't be able to make it magically disappear

I can't believe nobody said either run through Jita without lagging or have 1000 vs 1000 fleet battle with out a node crash both would be completely awesome.

I would hire out my services to the Sisters of EVE until i had to shut down some illegal brothels or rescue a poor kidnapped damsel. Then i would blow up any remaining trace of the poor villains, and rescue and shelter those poor exotic dancers who got stranded by my actions. They'd need someone to keep them warm after such a tragedy don't you agree? |

EDIT: Oh, nevermind, start as a rookie pod pilot... well, make money at first, and then have a bit of sight-seeing. The EVE universe is detailed enough with backgrounds and lore that life would be interesting, and immortality-via-clones is cool, I guess.

LOL at all the replies about exotic dancers... i am a bit surprised nobody said anything about getting high on crash or frentix yet.
all these various forms of entertainment, vice, and even illegal drugs are mundane elements of an advanced civilization. our own real world already has all these. just because you might be saying "OH LOOK THIS MMO HAS NAUGHTY RP STUFF!!!111" doesn't mean it's something new and exciting you would want to do.
it's basically like saying you will go to a foreign country just to eat some food or drink some water... well some people do that i guess... like if the pleasure hubs use neural implants to provide some amazing new experiences that are not possible in our normal universe, that might be worth a try
but as a pod pilot, there would be far more interesting new experiences i would be wanting to do. and then i would probably end up mining to make my ISKs like i currently do.

Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |
