My name is Jericho Steele, and I represent The Free Haven Group.
A few days ago, a notorious group of outlaw pirates, Master Miners, declared war on my small Group. We are outnumbered and outgunned, but we will fight. We have raided their HQs system in low-sec, and defeated them.
In response to this minor bloody nose,MASMI formed the Intruder. Alliance. Now my small corporation faces not one opponent, but three. . .including one of the most infamous low-sec mercenary corporations in existance so I am told, Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
The Free Haven Group issues a call to our friends near and far, to aid us in this our darkest hour!

Wow, yeah those MASMI guys. I've pew pewd them... That Abram CEO guy... They just suck! Sorry for the annoying situation you are placed at my friend. But you guys should have no problem. They mine all day and just kill people at the gates to keep "hostiles away" Bring a fleet in and you'll have a blast. They really really suck!

some how i find that laughable....when their FCs come to fight in T1 frigates its hard to take them seriously...watch out for Peter Powers

After having met the great forces of The Free Haven group I must admit they are an admirable force. After having them met in combat I am sure going to fit THREE Warp Core Stabilizers on all of my ships instead the usual TWO.
This is an alliance wide order to fit THREE Warp Core Stabilizers on every vessel, as they are plundering the roids away right from nuder our noses!
Furthermore we have hired the forces of ALTS in an attempt to hold back your overpowering crusade through the planets of our home system Groothese. This will be a hard needed addition to our crumbling member base who are all fleeing because of the sheer ammount of violence you radiate onto our ships.
We almost surrendered to The Free Haven Group, but our resilient CEO Abram refused to give up, even under this ammount of pressure.

We use our caps, so we lose them. We knew that we were walking into a trap but didnt expect it to be that organized. We will be prepared better next time.
If you like to post about out capital ship death's please do make another thread. This thread is going about a neverending highly important conflict against another group of miners who tried to infiltrate our roids. They had nothing to do with some of our cap's dying.

We're always up for killing some pirates and you guys have been pirating around in that area. Good enough reason for us to come down here and see if we can get some kills.
The original guys might be smacktalkers as well, but you guys arent the most diplomatic ppl around either. At least you could have kept this civil. This is just giving us an extra reason to come down.

Yes, some of us have been pirating around that area. You fail to realize that we like to keep the area clean because we're all just miners. So in fact it's just home defense.
So no, we are not just a bunch of pirates, we are a bunch of miners who occasionally PvP a bit too. We use our carriers for mineral hauling mostly, not combat.

well, i understand the fun and all for laugh part of masmi, but when it goes hunting us, mostly peacefull and inexperienced noob all over everyshore and sinq laison, and pod kill 3 week noob i don't see no sport, you just spoil the spirit of this game, war dec a serious corp, not a noob corp 4 time fewer in number, i'll keep on fighting and by the way random womble,stop whining on us being not fair, i understand you are ashamed, getting killed by noob, how do you feel, ********? :P (our loss killboard will be updated, most of our member are not registered yet, we actually look your killboard to keep track lol)

We have declared war against Xelas alliance in the past. Fought alongside KOS in the past... We've gone and returned from 0.0 with Aftermath Alliance, Fought Privateers twice and we've killed pirates AND neutrals. We don't really care what corp we dec or what our members do, they are free to have fun in their own way.
We just want what we call home to be free of hostilities/neutrals just like any other Alliance/Corp would do... We defend what we like... We've lived there for 2 1/2 years now. We love our home. Some of our members extend our defending a bit to high, so what!? They like to have fun... It's only Pixels.
I for one am OK with all you guys coming to our home, and giving us something to do. I'd rather lose my ship a million times to a good fight than to stay docked and bored all day. May the best man win. Jericho and all his friends... But most important; let's all have fun.

Erynyes im not whining im fine with losing a brutix to you guys all i said was in local before all of you jumped in that i had decided to give you a fair fight (T1 BC and T1 cruiser Vs what i thought was 1 BC 2 vexors a cruicifier and 1 other im not bothered that it turned out to be 4 BCs 3 cruisers and the frig) the one complaint i had was that your CEO said you would not be posting losses (to be fair at the time you had not posted the kill either) which to me is rather disappointing and last check your guy has still not posted his vexor loss. If you came in that again i would fight it again admittedly with diffrent ships since what i have available changes quite regularly atm.

If you think our postings are silly, then blame me. Our membership is still small, but we wanted something a little more than a bare-bones killboard, and I personally promised the pages creator I would fill it with content.
And like all players, we too seek only to have 'fun'. Apparently your 'fun' consists of declaring war on corporations one fifth your size and expierance. Looking over your killboards over the last year or so, I can see that a large portion of your 'fun' comes from killing unarmed transports, new players and miners. With the number of pod-kills you have racked up it must be a lot of 'fun'.
I for one say that your right to have fun ends at my shield terminus, and when you attack my people I will us what ever means, fair or foul, to protect them.

You forget to mention as was explained to you we war decced your corporation because of a mail you sent our CEO which we found offensive not because we desire to endlessly kill your members however yes we do enjoy fighting and killing even dieing sometimes so given a reason we will do so. Also experience is all relative we have a number of members who are less experienced than alot of yours.

well me i had no intention to offend random, just hope we get against again, we were outnumbring you i agree, you made a good fight, this is my first pvp experience ( serious one) and you did defended yourself great, i never encountered this type of fitting before and this actually help me get better,but we can't face you at even strenght, maybe in a year or so :P, one on one we have no chance, we'll train lol, you are tuff foes, and fleurs tx for not pod-killing me lol, i can afford salvage ship but implants kill me, stay civil and have fun all

I have to hand it to the Free Haven Group of players for being good sports and actually standing there ground and fighting. Well done. This goes against the grain these days with wars in Empire.
When this war is over i would be happy fly with you guys and give you some pointers in pvping.

if you guys really want out of this fight there is a simple solution, just stop fighting them and hide in a station for a few weeks. i know sitting in station sucks but to be frank you are giving them the fight they want and if you just stop throwing kills at them then they will eventually get board and go away, after all no point in fighting a war if nobody shows up.

Freehaven guys,
Just for the record, the alliance formation had nothing to do with you lot. It was just to do with 2 corps who've flown side by side for 18 months finally allying.
We didn't even really know there were any wars on when we started. Now we're in, we'll shoot anything we see though, but all in good spirit. its a game afterall, we play to have fun.
If you're finding the war hard, just come out in cheap ships, get used to working together and have some fun out of it. If you take some of our lot down on the way then fair play!

I just felt it might be worth correcting you that the raven was killed by a MASMI member in a sacrilege (T2 cruiser) although a UK1 astarte has taken part in some fights with you guys.
As for the 2 BS that we killed (and that sadly due to 1 pilots inexperience we lost 2 of our own to) they are well known pirates rather than antipirates and infact they engaged us not the other way around.

Glad to hear the few latest post, there was harsh word on the previous pages, wich i'm not into, i play for fun we may be noob but we do our best to give you a fight,our inability to regroup in the last few days as slowed up our resistance effort lol, but we actually fitted some disposable ship and will soon try to make a stand, even if we fail to get a kill, we'll do our best against the odds, i'll keep the non-combattant out of harm way, and give you guys a shot at our small fleet, good luck and fly safe

I would like to apologise on behalf of my corporation for the comment made. This is not the kind of behaviour the corp endorses and its simply what we are NOT about.
The member who made the comment is new to the corp and obviously not in harmony with our morals and how we play this wonderfull game. The member in question will be warned, he will then either leave, apologise or be kicked.

Sorry masmi guys our killboard is still not updated, we are working on that... here's a report : last night we tried to ambush Kutamun frome uk1 zero, we actually loss 2 vexor, a rupture and a brutix in the process, think we didn`t even get to is BS armor lol, twas a messy attempt by ourselves, but we learn that we need better timing in order to be more effective, tx for the lesson

Ahhh good to hear my old corp is still going strong!
Listen to Diehard, he's a good bloke as are UK1 as a whole. Learnt a lot from him. Our little corp put some of it into practice this week for the first time ever as we were wardecced and took out three battleships (Tempest/Domi/Armageddon) and sent a forth (Megathron) away in flames twice. It was our first PVP too. Thanks also to the 'neautral' assistance from our friends.

What possible reason would a large established corporation possibly have for attacking a group of complete and utter newbs? Of course, we must have gave them some offense. . .this is ever the reason the strong attacks the weak.

And yet this war drags on. . .we had not the means to resist you when it started, we have even less now. And despite the horriffic losses our aggressors have suffered, they have the means and the resources to continue warfare against us indefinately. . .
And the only advice anyone can give me, run or disband, smacks of cowardice I must instead ask:

I believe I speak for the community in general when I say 'huh?'. You cannot post chat logs, out-of-context, and use them to make a point, however nebulous.
For those that are interested the chat logs came from a conversation I had with Kutamon, a UK1 Zero pilot.
During this conversation I pointed out UK1 was now outnumbered in their own corporation by the MASMI pilots who have joined recently. I also pointed out the the KCFOS CEO was a well-known alt for a MASMI player.

Well just after apologies where made and master miners kindly retracted their war, hypocrisy and unsportmanship strikes again, last night a 1 1/2 month noob from our corp, named second instar replied to a call for help in a lev 2 mission in dodixie issued by a neutral named Lilaj, wich was apparrently a trap set by Masmi SolarNova and Lonk T1m3, actually just to pod our inexperienced member... Bravo!!! You shamed yourself once more, hope you are proud of yourself, i know you are the type that will station camp noob with dreadnought if ccp ever let you do so... I'm sure the other corps will take a similar step as well. As far as i can see this didn't happen. The creative posting and web site updates from Free Haven make the old Iraqi minister seem like an accurate reporter.
It's a shame because some of your guys are good sports and play the game properly. Then others just lie constantly and post complete nonsense.

As an ex-member of OMNOR and someone who was fortunate enough to have flown with Ioctl, I also have a tribute to him in my bio. I am not concerned if it is 'used against' me, because I feel that to do so would say a lot more about the person who would use it in that mannner than I ever could. Apparently it rhymes with 'Cupid Stunt' !!
In any event, I have no doubt that OMNOR will eventually gain your respect. Expect to die a lot before then.

Um.. No.. I, firstly, don't NEED to get out of this "mess". Moreover, you should learn to read. Once you do, you will see no reference whatsoever to the term "not guilty" nor any related synonyms. Smacktalk IS normal in online gaming (resistance is futile). And it indeed WAS a provocative series of statements, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation. I can remember quite well what I said. I also pasted Mitchman's quote in my reply. You have only to learn to comprehend the response.

Reeta is an alt. However, when I get up, go do other stuff, sit down, and relog with the alt, it's a different frame of mind. The previous text isn't on the screen, i.e. unrelated.

Good advice. If I ever find myself in one, I'll be sure to consider it. Since it's relatively impossible to "dig yourself into a hole" in a fictional environment, don't hold your breath. Too easy to start an alt or find another venue.

The expectation to lose ships comes with playing the game. Unfortunately, your bloodlust may have to be long-lived as I log on relatively rarely these days, even prior to this incident, so don't try to claim causality (look that one up, Don). However, if you want to volunteer to help me with time value of money and weighted average cost of capital calculations, I'll be happy to log on so you can vent your frustration by causing pixels to strike my fictional ship. That'll teach me!

our bloodlust makes us what we are. we are paid to kill. and we do ours best to do it.
if people dont want some people of their corp in danger, they should keep that in mind when doing the same to others (attacking) cuz you never know who is sitting behind that monitor. and how to trust those statements, especially from corp whose member find it normal to insult people by insulting their dead friends ?
im afraid nothing will teach you, thou cant be sure who knows what frame of mind you`ll have active, maybe the normal one.

Something like this happened with goonswarm a year or more ago, and it wasnt acceptable then. What you did is exactly the same, you should be ashamed of yourself and your corp should kick you out. I would even go as far as to say you should be banned forever, this game has enough idiots without people making fun of those that have passed away, whether it be construed as in game or out of game. What you did is wrong, you need to apologise and take a long hard look at yourself, OUT OF GAME.
and just to rebute your comments, as from what is in this thread, i.e chatlogs ect.
Yes you did insult him, you directly commented towards him.

Just to clarify. That was NOT my alt. I have courage to say what I want, it's part of my freedom of speech; if you don't like it, don't read/hear/see it! Unless you plan on living the rest of your life through a computer screen and avoiding all human contact you should google "sociopath" and try to spend more time with actual humans in real world settings. You seem to completely lack empathy. That will have no detrimental effect on your gaming but that's not everything.
