Damn, long post. Sorry.
I have not yet watched the video, but I must say all of the morality commentary is quite interesting.
The way I see it:
Vasili is destroying peoples' time, effort and enjoyment in this game. His motivation does not seem to be fun, but more to achieve a goal, which I am sure he derived some satisfaction from.
At the moment I am a care bear and fairly new to the game. I was unaware of this method of avoiding NPC retribution. I believe I cannot commit enough time to the game to really enjoy PvP, but things may change.
Now, for the people he is targeting, their ship really is their character, it is all they have worked for. I think these care bears have neglected some key rules of Eve; these rules are what you PvPers love about Eve.
Vasili is causing these people a lot of misery and distress, but I think that this misery really is consensual, by the very fact that they are playing Eve. These care bears and a lot of the outraged people posting here do not understand this. They operate under the misconception that high sec space is safe.
Now, I find it interesting that Vasili is unconcerned that his actions are spoiling peoples fun. I think this says something about his personal character, but I certainly would not call him anything as strong as a bastard in a polite discussion.
I think this video proves that a lot of care bears are playing the wrong game and suffer greatly for it. It comes down to a discrepancy in expectations.
A finial note in regard to whether this is an exploit or not. I am not CCP, so my opinion really makes no practical difference. However, this tactic only works if people are not playing smart. There are many tactics in this game that work under the same principal. The thing is, it cannot be used to force combat on someone in high sec space without NPS retaliation, so it is a tough call, but I think it is *not* an exploit.
Vasili, you are very unkind and unforgiving, but you picked the right game for it and you did it with style. That at least, I can have respect for.

this ... Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man.mp3
I literally love you for including this song into your journey of carebear torture. Watching chatlogs i'm assuming you listened to that song right when that kill happened, and went kinda ... hurdy gurdy
hard, real hard to beat that run anyway. Vasili cheers.

Finally got round to watching this, had no pc for a while & was looking forward to seeing it. I'm a Carebear & I think some folks fail to remember it's a game. It's really not that important, if losing my faction fitted CNR was the most of my worries I'd be a very happy man, real life brings concerns you can't just walk away from. What went on is a pretty impressive feat, more so for the fact that it was done in such an underhand manner. You set a goal & achieved it, I gotta admire that but don't respect it.
I think more concerning is the fun pics, why anyone would write their characters name on womens ass is beyond me, there definately seems a lack of respect for other people going on there, but some folks found it funny, each to their own.
Enjoyed seeing the vid however, just for the sheer scale of destruction & isk making, wee bit too fast paced at times but you explained the reason for that. Anyway, thanks for sharing, at worst it maybe caused folks to leave the game, at best it serves a warning to others even if they don't bother to read the cans under their noses.

Some things are truly amazing. Before I decided to install the client and get a trial account, I came to the forums and read about EVE, careers, piracy, scamming, cold & unforgiving world, etc. Things like "pulling a lofty" and the dangers of fleeting with strangers were readily availiable and pretty intensively discussed.
Somebody who has played enough of EVE to raise enough billions to burn in a single ship surely has to know what's going on. Somebody who can throw 11 billions to a single ship surely is concerned with keeping it reasonably safe, and checks Local every now and then, and doesn't make a fleet with a player whose name has been repeatedly mentioned in Local, next to a big "DON'T GANG UP WITH" sign.
It's not a hit on the "carebear" community, because such a thing does not exist. It's a hit on the mentally challenged community. http://www.geocities.com/vagrantweapons/db.jpg |

No lol Don't own own just yet... Sometimes I like to rent them for the weekend when i'm on vacation to beat the crap out of them \o/. That 360 in the picture i actually BROKE from pounding on it... Engine cut off and would not start back up, they had to pick it up in a flatbed. Took it from Ft Laudedale, FL to Miami down I-95 a few times. Got into a sick race with 3 bikes the last time at ~2am. One day i'll own one, but not yet :D.

Well IG badguys make EvE a definitely dark and unfair universe, which is cool :) That also spices up carebears' everyday routine (yeah i'm one too). So, I had fun watching your video, and thanks for that. Really impressive earnings here too.
However, there is definitely an IG&RL mixing issue (pics & posts about being a "corporate a**hole" - i've read almost the whole thread). As many people say, you can't compare RL & IG issues. But you're definitely mixing these, and IMO boasting about being a succesful a**hole IRL and IG, to say the same kind of person, is childish to say the least. You should keep your RL for you or open a myspace page.
Well to go back to the IG thing, EVE wouldn't be so fun without griefers, pirates and other yarrrry scum, so keep up the dirty work - if you're not already fed up with it.

And oh my god what a great choice of music! edit: except for donovan, that's just hippy nonsense... :/
If you've seen Sunshine, 1:19 of 'What do you see' is an amazing part of the movie.
Weapon and song there seems to be a little bit of buffalo bill in you.
Fly safe (or at least try with the amount of enemies you've made) ;p
