Alowishus mUfFiN fAcToRy Sex Panthers	Posted - 2008.02.19 22:21:00 - [1] I must say I thoroughly enjoy the people who will bring a noob ship or shuttle to your camp every five minutes, on the dot, and make no attempt to escape or avoid death. Is there a special name for these folks? If not then that's what this thread is about: Coming up with various names for the type of people who seem to utterly waste their subscription money with no apparent goal other than to annoy. Whilst I'm sure some troll will come in and say "isn't that what all pirates do?" I'll preemptively reply by saying our goal is to make ISK and we accomplish it. I'll start. Best I can come up with now is Camp Troll or Ammo Sponge. Next? /makes fart noise

To be honest, when your in a frigate and you pass by a raven, the huge Blue explosion when a torpedo collides with another ship will make you want that Battleship as soon as. In the end, I sold my Battleship the other day for 1)To afford the stuff to go training for a Stealth Bomber and get said stealth bomber itself (I have it in hangar now)and also due to the fact I feel I simply cannot fly a Battleship properly. (4.3 million SP currently).

It has allowed me to break camps or allowed mains of mine to pass freely. I consider boring an opponent a legitimate and quite useful tactic in Eve. One of us equals many of us. Smart bombing requires timing to hit a target coming out of warp using the current Warp To Zero system, as SBs cannot be fired within 5KM of the stargates. MMORPGs are genius because we're all actors in the same play... without each other we'd be fighting some lame-o AI cough X3 cough. The danger of low/null sec is vital to the Eve experience, whether it's in the form of precision gang tactics that cleverly exploit your every weakness or 'mindless' samrtbombers.

Me and some of my ex corpmates used to take alts into 0.0 gatecamps with clones right next door and see what ships people have and how many, then we'd spam it into the adjacent system till they left the camp. Nil respect to gatecampers. I mean wow, are you just dumb or something?

No looting, no warning others in the next system, just returning in a shuttle every 5 minutes and getting podded. If you choose to spend your subscription and time doing this, you certainly have a very odd sense of fun & enjoyment.

How about CCP find the person with the fattest wallet and declare them the winner of EVE?

As I said before, boring and to an extent, taunting an opponent is a legitimate tactic in this game. It's helped me to single-handedly break up gate camps or has allowed my main to pass through freely. You question what they do with their subscription money when many more question what you do with yours. You criticize a boring tactic when you yourself utilize a boring technique.
