So there I was, in a 0.4 system. I had just probed out both a Radar and a Magnetometric site in that same system. I got bookmarks for both and went to switch up ships. The Radar site went pretty well with over 75m worth of loot recovered. I jumped over to the Magnetometric site (Archeology/Salvage) and I get a handful of paltry items worth less than 100k total. Since then, I've done one other Archeology/Salvage site and it too had crap for loot. Is there something I'm missing here? That form of exploration site doesn't even seem to pay for the probes used to find it. Anyone have any info regarding these sites? If they are broken, I'll avoid them from now on. Thanks.

Avoid them. Archeo sites need buff.

Thanks Narfas. Is this the norm? Does anyone else actually find decent stuff from these types of sites? Honestly, I was expecting BETTER loot from the magnetometric site as it requires higher skill levels to complete them properly.

I'm not sure, because I'm still noob-wannabe-explorer, but these sites found by me in hi-sec and, partly, low-sec were not worth my time, probes, and skilling Survey on 5.
Nothing to compare with hack sites.
Maybe in 0.0 there's something more, erm... spectacular to find.
Devs, buff archeo sites (and do NOT nerf hack).
