Hello, Benilopax here again, you may remember me from such Evetv market reports as... all the Evetv market reports. Sadly Evetv weekly is no more, but I wasn't going to let the news generated in here go unnoticed. So as you may know I will be writing a short roundup of industry news in my EON articles. However, a few hundred words once a quarter isn't going to keep everyone up to date.
So after one pilot run through, two helpful podcasters(Urban Mongral and Winterblink), three broken computers, and a nice cup of tea. I can now finally announce the new industry and market based podcast from the Warp Drive Active Podcast group.
Lavista Vista and myself, along with a whole host of guests will bring you all the news, reveiws, tips for young industrialists, and general goings on in the world of ISK making.
The show will be released every wednesday starting on the 27th of Feburary. We will be recording the majority of the show this weekend, so please if you have any news items, questions, tips for new players, or general interest stories either post below or eve mail me in game. If anything comes up before wednesday afternoon I shall try to add it to the podcast so we can be as up to date as possible.
We will also be including a short news section for general eve events to help WDA stay up to date on its Eve News.

This is very good news!
There's been a void since the evetv market reports vanished, and it'll be nice to have that void filled. I eagerly await the first episode.

Meh, tis not the best british accents, one of the more dull ones even. They should roll out a geordie/cockney combo to pack more colonial punch.

Two months, I was still on EveTV four months ago. And I also point you to read the OP we have had some large technical problems, namely both my comps dying on me and lavista's dying on him.
As you say better later than never.

It will be available via iTunes, in the same format as WDA.
Also check out WDA Ep. 29 for Lavista and myself discussing the show, and many things EVE.

Will it be available anywhere other than iTunes? I refuse to install that... thing... :P

It will be available on iTunes, on eve-files, and on virgin worlds. Just like our sister show.

A podcast is not just an MP3, it's an MP3 along with an RSS feed so that you can automatically download the latest episode, all of them, etc.

Plug the rss feed link into any podcast supporting software and there you go. Winamp for instance has full podcast capabilities.
As far as the term goes. Let it be mate. 'Podcast' is a far better term than 'audioblog' or any of the other ones people want to throw around.

Hello all, we have a slight delay on episode one due to Warp Drive Active taking a bit longer to come out than planned. As soon as it is out we will follow soon after.
