Ok, so i started looking for people on my hitlist last night - first target was in rancer federal navy academy. I didn't even think till I got there to check to see if he was online or not (i know better for next time). He wasn't.
There were however some sex panthers there, and they had a brutix (all nice and flashy red too) sitting there baiting. As i was in a thorax, and my gangmate was in a caracel (rest of our gang had logged less than 10 minutes before), we didn't feel like challenging their bait. So after 5-10 minutes playing around, seeing if they'd give up the bait for us to blast, the apparently got annoyed and undocked a Chimera.
Thats right... they undocked a chimera for a cruiser...
Now, when they had a 4 man gang instation, why the heck would they undock a chimera? Yes, I had a fully t2 fit thorax, but imo that would be a good enough reason to undock the gang and gank me - not to undock a carrier to scare me off.
So, why would you undock a carrier on a cruiser?

I had to rofl at this thread I was in the brutix I got myself a nice new G15 keyboard for ublar pwnage, I was setting some keys up and you were outside my station we were never in a gang or anything vent was only 2 people active really, lumari undocked his drake and shot at your thorax and caracal, you guys docked up and im pretty sure he could have soloed the both of you.  The Chimera was only for epeen factor. Don't wine on the forums evertime a carrier or dread undocks to kill you it happens alot. Grow up :P

If they did its because they can , there are no rules in pvp as you know Im sure ,take it as a compliment

Meh - i only docked because my gangmate docked - we hadn't worked together before. As for him soloing us? He had gateguns, and i alone had more than 400dps (not sure about my partner). But to us it looked alot like a trap.
Nice to know the truth though - next time i'll just start blasting

but that was at station, i've actually had a couple infinite innovation guys undock a carrier and then warp it to a belt, chased me around with his fighters for a while but gave up. Vagabond ftw! though woulda been a lot better if it had been a trap. cyno in a few dreads and pop that bad boy. only had the pleasure in scratching the paint on some of his fighters buh oh well. we're living in an age where everyone's got a bloody cap ship. get over it

Who the hell uses cruisers for low sec pvp? The only thing they are good for is hitting the dock/jump key when they get shot at.

We do that **** all the time. We just popped a hauler with a Dread just because it was undocked. So what!
