fail. Stop conflating a functionality improvement with a "win" button. One is not the other.
Lazy has nothing to do with it. After dragging loot to the hold the 80,000th time maybe you'll realize that a right-click "take all loot" option on wrecks would be a fantastic functionality improvement.
If CCP did that the next complaint would be "OMG! (insert police faction) blew up my ship for contraband!!!" followed by repeated whine on the forums that contraband needs taken out of the loot table.
It's less headache and putting coding resources to something more useful... like finding buggy code or new code.
Live with it or go play WOW, it's your choice.

My theory is My Ship and drones have been out huffing paint together - would explain a few actions taken by both.

I'm comparing two exactly the same things.
quickloot = dragging all loot from a wreck to my cargo (done it myself a million times)
quickkill = dropping a bubble, activating modules and killing that shuttle, which just jumped through the gate (done it myself a million times)
See what I did there? .

Hmmm. No, sorry. This doesn't exist.
I think what you meant was:
Open wreck/container <wait several seconds for loot or whatever to load> Highlight all loot via Ctrl-A or the right click menu Drag loot to cargohold icon
Sounds about right?

I find CTRL + QUICKLOOT (type that part) works rather well.
That works for you?
Seems to fire up a "show source", I must be doing it wrong.

What does this even have to do with the requested change? Nice derail.

Yeah you conflated a request for nice functionality improvement with a request for a win button. Learn2debate.

People will autoloot their mission loots and end up with some illegal drugs/whatnot that they didn't realise was there and as soon as they warp to a gate/station the faction police will wtfpwn them. Queue up the 'wtf ccp you clueless bastages why did my fully officer fitted cnr get pwnd by autolooting my own wrecks AHHHHHHHHH YOU SUXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!' threads. You know it will happen.

Occupational hazard. No need to compensate.
But as far as I know, the faction police don't blow you up unless you refuse to jettison the cargo... and if that's not working properly it is another story.
Then again they could just throw in another "loot contraband" confirmation window... since you know how much they love to put those conformation windows on everything.

Which one? This is like the, "There can be only one!" gathering of trolls.
Dude asks a perfectly reasonable question, because coming from other MMOs, Eve sucks ass in the looting department. That doesn't make it a better game, just another aspect of the interface that is clumsy.
And not only has it always been clumsy, it's been getting worse. Ever since kali portions of the interface have been slower and slower to load. So on top of the "OMG I think I would rather have my retinas scraped" pain of trying to loot in Eve, you have to contend with every single wreck being slow to show what the heck is in it.
But instead of any support, dude gets omg gb2wow along with the "hold ctrl+QUAFE" stupidity which is no different from, "alt+F4 to power up!" which is as old as my grandmother's socks and not even as funny.

Nah. This thread is just taking elitism to a new level of dumb.
