We need to think about these things and organize them. Once we start colonizing together resources should be plenty. If pooling doesn't work that well because of shortages, we'll organize some cheap trade. ---

Essentialy if you need Sulphur give me a shout, I have reservations for marble from someone and if they see this I need 27 units of glass should it be available. Plan is to get a colony each on the island we are discussing, want to get people to all agree on a site before we commit but we will need a total of 168k gold to get an island (16 colonies costing 12k each). For those reading this out of interest think anchoring 16 indestructable POS in a system. Haruhiists - Overloading Out of Pod discussions since 2007.

Atm, the EVE alliance shows only 1 member: does this mean Zhainius will need to get loads of diplomat pts before we can all join, or will we have to contribute diplomat points? Still not totally clear on alliance mechanisms, but tbh - so long as we don't wage war on each other, fair do's... Next time I'm ingame I'll join the Ikariam chat channel, though what about a mailing list? Might be easier to keep a roster and updated information that way rather in addition to this thread, though it might get a bit long here. EDIT: Nvm, just realised you need to have at least a L1 embassy to join an alliance. What are the prerequisites for these other buildings? Through research at the academy?

Kirjava Royal Hiigaran Navy	Posted - 2008.02.24 22:38:00 - [41] Plan to colonise the island is this. Everyone gets a palace in their base settlements, this alows the construction of a colony. A colony costs 12k gold (I can if I remove all caps generate this in around 30 hours at this moment). We decide which island we want, then fill up the whole island with colonies so it is only us there. There is at least 8 of us, possibly 12 but enough for us to have a colony each on the capital island. We can put more colonies on each of the ajacent islands for resources and ship them to the main one. Haruhiists - Overloading Out of Pod discussions since 2007.

GM Zhainius Amarr Game Masters	Posted - 2008.02.24 23:17:00 - [45] We'll have a mailing list ingame as soon as the alliance is up. 2 current issues with that: 1: to join an alliance you need an embassy (please refer to this FAQ link: http://s3.ikariam.org/index.php?view=researchDetail&researchId=1040, if you set it to research sea fearing it will automatically do the prerequisites too) 2: joining alliances is currently broken, although should be fixed soon from what the forums look like.

For now we have an in Eve mailing list "Eve Gamma" until the Ikariam one, chears about the alliance info. Just got Wealth and upgrading Town Hall to 4, woot. After this I started building a warehouse.

Well Digging is ghood for increasing your population and Wealth should be one of your early goals to start mining the speciality material. Haruhiists - Overloading Out of Pod discussions since 2007.
