Hi y'all
So, my roommate clued me into this game and I must say, quite impressive:)
Now for the strange question -- my roommate and I were out ratting and he gets podded by
some nasty pirates in local He ends up a little short on isk so, as a favor I
tried to spot him a little. Quickly, I found out I couldn't just transfer isk over to
him. As a cleaver sidestep, so we thought, he placed a sell order for 1 unit of some
consumer good on the market and I quickly bought it. It seems that the money went to
another character and after refreshing the market tab my roommates order is still on the
market. How did this happen? Has this happened to anyone else? I made the purchase
just seconds after he placed it on the market! We tried twice and each time the isk
goes to some other character!!
How Crazy -- is there no way I can lend him a little isk so we can get back to ratting?

Lowest sell order in station will always take first.
If you put up a sell order at 1,000,000 and the next one down is 1,000... that guy with the 1,000 isk price just got your million. Either try it with an item not on the market in the station you're in, or do it in a station with few items for sale and it'll work.
Alternatively, but something that resells for the same price and trade it to him... then he can sell it and there ya go.

To be honest -- purchasing a subscriptions is something I am not sure I want to do right now. Yes, I find the game interesting, however, not so sure a subscription is right for me ATM. The real answer I am looking for is -- How some other character got my isk when my roommates order clearly was for the sum I wanted to transfer to him???

You always buy the cheapest order from the market and always sell to the order that pays the most.

That restriction is there for a reason. Do you really think it would make sense to let ppl circumvent it that easily? Oh, and GMs read this forum as well. May way want to be a bit more careful.

There are countless games in the world. There are at least as many ppl that dont like one or more rules of said games. That never stopped smart game designers from creating good games.
