SATAN BURN EDEN	Posted - 2008.02.25 04:57:00 - [1] The locals in M-O have been good today flying back and forth delivering their good stuff to our hangers. Somewhere along the way some of them decided that we have had our fill, and it was time to set us straight. Being at this sort of thing for a very long time now we can sense such things and we knew something was coming we just did not know what and from whom. First, Rule of Three show up next door sitting on the gate with 8 ships to our 6, they took about 10 minutes to finally jump in and have a go, didnÆt work out well they lost 6 ships and managed to kill some of our ammo. Second, Hydra alliance jumps in with about 20 into Taisy battleship heavy and proceeds to loiter in the system while another group of unknowns shows up with a 15 man nano gang and attempts to bait us with a cookie. They failed and quickly scurried back into the ***s from where they came from. At this point Hydra shows up on the M-O gate and we knew the party was about to begin. Hydra jump, and as I give the order to uncloak and engage Morsus Mihi shows up on the gate with 2 carriers and 2 nano. Luckily the majority of us had not uncloaked yet and the order was changed to stay put. Hydra uncloaks and starts aligning local at this point is 40, 7 of which is us and a few unknowns. Hydra starts warping away why we are not sure but this is when the order is given to uncloak and drop a bubble. We catch about 6 Hydra as well as the carriers with the bubble, at which point they start to feel the love from our group they quickly start to loose some worthless nano**. At which point the rest of the Hydra fleet warps back into the gate and we start to engage their BS and support. They quickly start to realize that even though we only have 6 ships engaging, they are loosing and for a moment we thought that it was going to be a good pay day, but Morsus Mihi had other plans. Third, local starts to pick up a bit more and suddenly a cyno pops up right on top of the hydra fleet, at which point the our very own Governator starts screaming warp out ôRagnarokö. After processing for a sec I realized that my initial conclusion of that being a capital mining ship was wrong as it appeared on my screen. We all hit warp, and everyone manages to get out, well everyone except Hydra their allies beat us to the punch. While in warp we quickly give the order to get right back in and pick off whatÆs left. Back into the action we notice the Hydra fleet of pods, trying to figure out wtf just happened and the Titan is already gone, who knows where. Only thing on the gate is 2 RAWR carriers and some incoming support, which we quickly start to tackle and kill. At this point we have complete control of the field thanks to RAWR and 2 carriers tackled. We start testing the waters and decide that the Thanatos will be primary, at which point a 3 and quickly a 4th carrier show up and start remote repping each other. Our mighty fleet of 4 BS was unable to break their tank, at which point we started to look for allies to come and help. Soon after we realized that we have no allies, at which point enemies were contacted to see if they wanted in. Even our enemies wanted nothing to do with what we had so we just proceeded to pop fighter drones for the next 20 minutes. Then as we were about to let the carriers go local started to explode to about 80 thanks to CCPÆs idea of instantaneous travel via jump portal. And at the same time one of our BS gets put into a bubble by an interdictor, unfortunately for the dictor pilot he forgot that sitting inside his own bubble is a bad thing. He dies, the Raven gets out of the bubble and we all start to warp off. Well all except for me because of the great grid system, about 20 hostiles pop out of no where 5k from me and start to have their way. Unfortunately for them, two can play that game as I crossed the grid and broke their lockÆs and warped off. Our losses were high for the day 2 Vigils were lost by the same pilot Our kills Battleships û 9 Battlecruisers û 5 HACS û 4 Cruiser û 6 Force recon û 3 Hectors û 2 Dictors -4 Ceptors û 5 Logistics û 1 Frigs û 3 Assault û 1 Pods û 14 I know this is far from EvE shattering, but we figured a change from the typical 300vs300 lag fest reports would be a welcome read for some of you.

The problem with the widdow (and quite possibly all black ops ships) is poor tank, poor dps and way too expensive.

We are not aligned to anyone and are actively red to most if not all of the other alliances you mentioned there so as far as us being bait.... but hey don't let that spoil your little story. We were not suprised (as I suspect most of Eve would agree) to see Burn Eden run/disappear as soon as anything remotely PVP entered the system. Its a shame, it would have been nice to pod you again.

Specifics are shown only to members although victims tend to get an idea as well although it tends to be rather one sided. Real sori im missing the fights guys i should be finished in Bath in a month max.

You actually caught us en route to M-O when we heard in intel channels about your Camp. took us a few minutes because we where actually talking about what to do, break your camp or wait for reinforcements, I made the call to jump in and go have fun :D We came out fully expecting to take heavy losses and we did, but none we couldn't ever afford to lose, was a nice fights though and I need to complement you guys on the tactics your using. Nice tactic, worked wonderfully well and I don't know who/what it was but in the end the guys that popped my where doing some very nice damage. Salute on a good fight and hope to see you again some time, Only a shame our evening out ended a bit quickly when we run into that camp of yours. Good fight/Fun mate ! ~S~

Yes we always run from fights, that why we never kill anything... On that note, your gang consisted of mainly nano**** and outnumbered us at least 3:1 we were going to engage when Hydra was spotted and decided that cooler heads would prevail since we have no idea if your their butt buddies or not. Sorry you didn't get to die to us, maybe next time. Far as you podding me goes, not sure where or when it happened if ever but I suspect you outnumberd me at least 10:1 to make it happen. Imo, most industrial corps from Hydra are improving a lot lately since Grey Council (and another pure pvp corp) joined their ranks. You had a good run, don't go off showboating all the time when you get some nice kills and when you get assistance from a hostile titan lol

Are there no pilots in Hydra with over 60m SP? Wonderful write-up, SATAN, I shall remember to run from the system if you enter it -- Sir, I don't understand why we train for ECM, sir - in a fleet battle all you got to do is press buttons. THE ENEMY CANNOT PRESS A BUTTON IF YOU DISABLE HIS LOCK. MEDIC!

About owning us lol. The MM titan DD owned us not BE, thats also comical BE beating its chest for kiling Hydra when MM titan did it... Needless to say, I got the pilot into deep armor, local spiked, I activated another energy neutralizer to wipe out his cap, recalled drones, and warped out. He had the audacity to ask me if I was using WCS. Seriously, it is my belief, that if you are kick ass at solo pvp, or even remotely know how to solo pvp, you will be a huge asset to your gang.
