The card you have is/could be AGP. The one you posted is PCIE. They are not compatible with each other.....FYI
So make sure it will work in your PC before you buy it. Also, If you need help, post your system info. |

Don't bother with that its seriously crap, grab one of these Linkage they are cheap and powerful and can match the 8800 GTS and GTs but for less cash.

If its made by sapphire avoid it like the plague. Cheap yes, but it shows.
And the 8400GS graphics chip was incredibly poor.
I bought a PC with one in, and replaced it almost immediatley.

Just get a 7600GT. V. cheap nowadays and runs EVE Premium like a charm.

Sapphire was the primary manufacturer of "made by" ATI cards in the past, therefore its likely they get a sweeter deal from ATI ---------------------------------

sitting in station causes my graphics card to over heat, fleet fights and space are not a problem but 5-10 minutes in a station will shutdown the gpu because it gets so hot :(

IMO the Radeon HD3850 is probably the best deal right now, one of them can run 2 trinity clients at 1920x1200 on separate monitors. If that's too rich for your blood though (about $140 if you find a good deal), you can get an HD2600 for $55 on newegg.

The HD3870 doesnt cost much more than the 3850.

Same sort of thing happens to me. The whole computer just switches off but it happens after half an hour or so mining. Hmmmm I knew mining was bad

ATI/AMD stinks to say it mildly. Get a 9600GT or a 8800GT.

I have a HD2600XT - runs two eve clients no bother at all (both in 1440x900 so I can read the text... being an old fart and all). No problems with Sapphire at all, and equals the nv8800 mid range cards for performance.
