Apparently for my comments in this thread:
linky
We recieved:
2008.02.23 20:31 Knights Of Syndicate has declared war on The Avalon Foundation. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
So we got our gang together, got our locators running etc. War went live and....nothing
So we go for a roam looking for targets and what do we find?
2008.02.24 21:42
Victim: ********* Alliance: Knights Of Syndicate Corp: DEADLY RENEGADE ELITE ASSASSIN MERC SQUAD Destroyed: Occator System: Alentene Security: 0.9 Damage Taken: 8702
Involved parties:
Us
Destroyed/dropped items:
around a billion in stuffs including a hulk, 2 encryption methods books and some harvester drones(all of which survived \o/)
This guy was on autopilot.
Anyway then we get this:
2008.02.24 21:49 The war between H.F. Enterprises and The Avalon Foundation is coming to an end. H.F. Enterprises has retracted the war against The Avalon Foundation. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
Looks like the "industrial" people are bailing out.
So we fly around for a little while waiting to get stomped by the mighty alliance fleet..
Then we get this:
2008.02.24 22:13 The war between Knights Of Syndicate and The Avalon Foundation is coming to an end. Knights Of Syndicate has retracted the war against The Avalon Foundation. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
We did get a few more kills here and there whilst the war wound down. Our K/D ratio was:
(This is awesome I always wanted to do one of these)
We lost: Nothing
The lost: 1 Occator,1 Thorax, 1 Arbitrator, 2 Kestrels and 1 Blackbird
The rest of the alliance stayed docked up in 0.0 camped in by 2-3 guys as usual.
We had lots of fun and are considering war deccing the alliance, we were getting bored and were going to leave their "pocket" but this has perked us up no end.

I'm still amazed to this day almost 4 years in game, of how stupid people are. Autopilot, in empire, at war time.
Well, have fun in the war mate.

Are you not gonna do a write up on the Your allies vs Their allies Skirmish? I'll provide the popcorn.
By "their allies" you mean You guys, Red Skull, Apelion and probably some other people I omitted?
By "our allies" you mean who? Agent Marvin?
I have a serious question for you guys: Arent you guys sick of having to come scare us off all the time as KOS can't seem to manage it?

There's lots of threads in this here CAOD. Lots of epic stuff flying around. Giganumous battles of breath taking proportions. Sould rending tales of losses most horrible and essays with such political insight, they conjure tears. And then comes this thread.
It beats all the others.

No we love it.
KOS have had a hammering over recent months, in part from us. That hurdle got jumped and we are now giving them the breathing space they need to recover. Plus, they help us, so we help them. What an alien mindset huh..
As for the 'What allies?', you linked the thread yourself.
But to be fair when there isnt a station to dock in, you guys do bring it. The attempts to save your mates carrier was Admirable. So on that front, props.

So what help do KOS give to you guys exactly? Camping the empty Station in RLL with 2-4 carriers seems a bit of a waste imo.
We do value the help of friends it isnt an alien mindset to us quite the opposite, however you will find it is alien to the leadership of the current KOS and they will be looking to "better deal" you the first chance they get.
I suppose meeting some Romanian guys in local who happen to be shooting the same people as you and striking up a friendly conversation could be construed as "allies"
I have to say you guys are really good friends to KOS you come help them in their pocket all the time, and hell you even post on their behalf on the forums. I wish we had friends like you guys.
Whose carrier are we talking about btw?

I believe that they're referring to ELL's carrier lost in lowsec a few months back. Everyone booked it from pocket, but couldn't really get there in time or save it. I think it was Church that took it down?
I think it was ELL anyway...
In the end though, I've been extremely impressed with Rez and Cosmic's friendliness in local and on the forums. I'm going to choose to ignore the Dhan incident a couple days ago, and say that it isn't representative of them.

I *think* they're talking about that Church carrier that got popped in UO9. The pilot was apparently pals with the Romanians.
