The funny thing about being "space popular" is that likes on the forums do not accurately measure it at all.

Good to hear, plus if someone asks me how many likes I have and its suppose to be bad to be popular or have many likes, I will just lie about, and say a lower number, so they like me anyhow. Or if I need more likes to be popular I can also lie about it too. I think that might be the best to handle likes, rather then earning more of them.
Let me go talk to CCP Diagoras about how I already have 100 likes, and also lie about sending in a passport and paperwork, and have him put me on the official list.

With regards to mining, there is a few things I would CCP to consider and possible things they seriously need to consider changing (Some of these have already been suggested):
- Change the drone regions to bounties. Mining is a very specific skill path and should be the primary source of ore/minerals. Not ratting.
- Either re-seed the regions with ORE so that it adds unique value to specific classes of space and not by region. OR adjust the mineral requirements of BPO/BPCs so that high end ores can go back to their original values. Balance at the Core
Back in the day when EVE was small there was maybe 50 - 100 man skirmishes and fleets were small enough that tactics was more important than numbers. Rooks & Kings videos have shown us that this is still possible today.
Some suggestions on how eve could be returned to this:
- Return R64 moons to the top form of income so that all over EVE space can have value again.
- Reduce the max sizes of corps and/or limit the amount of corporations in an alliance to say a max of 3000 characters.
- If you are in a corporation and it is in an GÇ£AllianceGÇ¥ with other corporations it is called an alliance. This way you force smaller entities within EVE-Online.
- Limit or even remove the ability to set standings.
- Together with removing the standings system, you would need to introduce the treaties system. Basically positive war declarations. Possibly manage the cost differently. Make treaties a two way cost. Make it exponentially more expensive based on the size (Number of characters) and duration of the treaty.
- Together with the above, maybe consider renter slots that will allow a max of 1 renting alliance. This could make for some interesting arrangements.
- Make SOV cost exponentially more with each system owned. For example, 1 GÇô 5 systems cost 5 mil per system per month, 6 GÇô 10 systems will now push all systems up to 7 mil per system per month, 11 GÇô 15 systems will make all systems cost 10 mil per system per month.
- With the SOV system introduced in Dominion, add a new TCU, called the Master TCU. This TCU will be the Alliance capital. This will mean that SOV inside this region follows the about price scale. Any sov held outside this region is subject to attrition, making the systems cost 10x more per month to keep.
The biggest problem is that players complain about the symptoms. The source needs to be fixed and once the base is fixed then everything else should fix itself, super capitals, and Mass space holding blob fests, lag, and soverenty. This is a tough change to make and I am sure will make a lot of people unhappy. But balance needs to be restored in EVE-Online.

Sorry bub no matter what you put forward or how eloquently you put it over, most EVE players just wouldnGÇÖt trust anyone involved or attached to Goons, you have made your selves a universal pariah to the majority of normal players, so the trust level relating to your group to actually do as to what you so blithely portray would register as -99.9 Goons have stood for too much griefing and other crap in the past to be trusted to being balanced. You have cut your cloth now wear the suit.
Players donGÇÖt want an EVE according to the book of Goon.
