Its not the word, its the way that they are deliberately imitating suicide bombers thats the problem, that and referancing a particular god (who has never been mentioned in any game literature) during your holy war against miners.
The goons are well aware it is offensive and that is certainly one of the reasons why they find it funny.
Also it may well be a violation of the ban policy...

A huge number of players are emulating piracy. Is that not equally offensive to people in parts of the world where piracy is a real problem?
Ahh but when emulating piracy a large majority of players do not make referances to the current real world practice of piracy and if they did it would be in bad taste.
In the same way when suicide ganking no one used to mention the current real world aspect of suicide bombing and of course the two are in fact very different as both the suicider and the victim are in fact immortal demi gods not just normal human beings and again to do so is in bad taste. |

As do I, but I do draw the line at shouting 'god is great' in arabic and then suiciding for the reasons I have already explained above.

I think its more the things they're saying rather than what they're doing that people are complaining about....
Personally i have no problem at all with suicide ganking. |
