CVA Statement
We can confirm that CVA and friends have destroyed an -A- Aeon in Misaba. The pilot had been pirating in Misaba since Monday.
As we have made clear on many occasions the CVA does not tolerate piracy in Amarrian space and this pilot understood the risks he was taking by operating in the 'Deliverance' area.
We hope this kill - plus the recent self destruction of another pirate (non -A-) Nyx whilst under CVA fire - sends out a clear message that CVA will not tolerate attacks on neutrals in Amarrian space.
That concludes CVA comment on this kill in this forum...

it stops those killing you from getting the loot and when a fit mothership can be worth billions i'd say that's reason enough to self destruct if you know you aren't getting out.

Now, if only they could stop picking on us legitimate businessmen after they're finished with their jobs.
Killboard is confusing due to smartbombing, I'll lay facts on the line after linkage
Obvious CVA trap spotted, fleet tempest in a belt with golem in the next system. Bait is taken by a small gang, CVA Tempest lights cyno and drops Chimera, someone (?) in the small allied gang lights cyno and drops Nidhoggur + Thanatos, lulz ensue for about 15 minutes until the 20+ member CVA support fleet shows up and slows framerates to an unplayable crawl.
Our Thanny managed to get out, after that they put another two Archons on grid and cleared the field. Final ISK tally puts us in the lead (Golem and Fleet Temp were both officer/faction/complex fitted and worth approx. 3bil together), however we lost a Nidhoggur class carrier in the engagement, as well as several small ships.
Regardless, GF CVA. Please let's leave carriers out of it next time.

While this is the wrong thread in which to discuss this particular fight I just wanted to highlight that the Griefwatch link is missing many of your losses. However, it does confirm that you killed more in ISK value.
As I wasn't there, and so far there is no report of this on our forums, I have no idea who ended up with all the loot. It does look like it was an interesting skirmish

Good work CVA.
Whether the the Mum was in low sec amarr or 0.0, CVA still took down a super cap of AAA. The location doesn't really matter, the point is who is CVA to dictate terms to -A- or anyone for that matter. People in 0.0 don't give 2 ****s what RPers declare as theirs to defend.
If your an ally of CVA & friends then you will respect such policies. If you don't care about NRDS, then you do what you want, when you want it regardless of where. (albeit using your head)
If someone wants to tread on that, I'd say it worth defending. Maybe it won't come to all out war but I am sure as **** that ET won't let this one go.

Hehe, I dont disagree with the you there. I think that the pilot will probably get a nice smackdown.
But at the end of the day, if a o.o alliance whether it be -A-, MC or even BoB wants to do some low-sec pew not one of us give a damn about CVA policy of NRDS. If it's (inset racial space here) it's fair game. If you want to attack based on your RP politics then they fully expect a non rp alliance to at least mount a small offensive.
(of course some 0.0 alliances do have a no pirating policy)
CVA has some teeth but at some point someone needs to knock them out. Religios zealots have no place in this universe.
