Pros and cons. Let's hear your views. Should highsec POS's be sacrosanct? I believe they should be, because it's hard enough out there for industrialists as it is.

Umm no? Have you ever tried taking on a properly setup deathstar with just battleships?
A few POS gunners can drive off a fleet of a hundred battleships, the odds are grossly in favor of the defendent.

Uh, did I hear somebody say risk free ISK?.....
high sec POS's are pretty tough nuts to ***** as it is tbh. And industrialists dont really have it that hard do they? You're in the wrong corp if you're constantly being war-decced and having your POS ganked, or maybe some corp hates you

Taking any large POS with just battleships is mind numbing... let alone if they have POS gunners screwing everyone over. ;-)

Here's how EVE works now if you try (with perverse imagination) to compare it to RL:
All the countries of Earth decide to hand over policing of their territories to one central organization. This global police organization creates and enforces the exact same laws for all countries irregardless of any conflict between countries. Though each country "employs" this global police force the police force doesn't have to answer to any of it's "employers" basically given it free reign to impose any kind of policy it wants.
This global police force because it can do whatever it wants decides to take "fees" to allow groups of individuals to kill other groups of individuals. Consider it like when the Mob pays off the cops to look the other way. The police force takes their fee makes it all sound legit and all of a sudden any group of madmen, as long as they pay the cash, can round around putting holes in others.
Here's the best part: One country is at odds with another country and have set border zones between them. A "corporation" in country A wants to shoot up a "corporation" in country B. Since it's the same police force being used in both countries country A Corp just pays off the police to allow them to go shoot at country B's Corps.
And where is each country's military in all this? Umm...Nowhere.
Try to make sense of it if you can't. It's an insane system to begin with. ***

Request: Should highsec POS's be sacrosanct?
Reasoning: I believe they should be, because it's hard enough out there for industrialists as it is.
This thread will go nowhere fast if you don't greatly elaborate on your reasoning.

I am completely against the war dec system. Empire should be war free, that is what Concord is for, keeping the peace. I am tired of having to drop out of a corp because some idiot war decc'd just to have targets to shoot in empire.

Could always try defending yourself. The carebear element in this game is becoming overwhelming and killing it. ISK vs RISK used to be the guiding principle, don't worry it's not your fault CCP has let go of this game concept as well.

I might have a True Sansha Medium Tower planned in the future, if it was given a few shield hardeners and Cap Drainers, as well as myself manning the guns, would it be worth trying to take down when there is only a lab and hangar in it? ------------------------
