If you want to keep your little blob alive you should probably head south asap and reinforce bob, because if bob dies or a stalemate is reached where bob is thought to be contained, then the coalition will have to do something fun.

Nope, I am by no means here touting my own skills. However I am impressed by the number of self destructing cap ships lately. Is this a new alliance policy, or your pilots just sour pusses?. Although I suppose self destructing to rob IRC from the killmail might have been appropriate, if you consider the 2k bump off the station Bobby Atlas gave Lundrin was really the reason Lundrin was attacked at all. We wanted Bobby, ohhh so badly but Lundrin was too good to ignore. Maybe next time, make Bobby go first?

We did have a problem upgrading back after Trinity and you are correct, we lost quite a few loss mails and some kill mails. However, our stats included in our current campaigns which include home space and local enemies are as accurate as can be achieved since they started 1/1/2008. We sync with most major boards and all of our local enemies on a weekly basis. We view an accurate killboard as an important tool to let us know what is working, what isn't and who is not following procedure. If anyone finds IRC loss mails not being posted let me know and it will be dealt with accordingly.
As far as me flying a Celestis...I'm poor, what can I tell you.
PS. IRC members posting here, please keep the smackish stuff to a minimum it doesn't really serve any good.

We did have a problem upgrading back after Trinity and you are correct, we lost quite a few loss mails and some kill mails. However, our stats included in our current campaigns which include home space and local enemies are as accurate as can be achieved since they started 1/1/2008. We sync with most major boards and all of our local enemies on a weekly basis. We view an accurate killboard as an important tool to let us know what is working, what isn't and who is not following procedure. If anyone finds IRC loss mails not being posted let me know and it will be dealt with accordingly.
As far as me flying a Celestis...I'm poor, what can I tell you.
PS. IRC members posting here, please keep the smackish stuff to a minimum it doesn't really serve any good.

Nope, I am by no means here touting my own skills. However I am impressed by the number of self destructing cap ships lately. Is this a new alliance policy, or your pilots just sour pusses?. Although I suppose self destructing to rob IRC from the killmail might have been appropriate, if you consider the 2k bump off the station Bobby Atlas gave Lundrin was really the reason Lundrin was attacked at all. We wanted Bobby, ohhh so badly but Lundrin was too good to ignore. Maybe next time, make Bobby go first?
It was xbios that got bumped off the station by me, not lundrin - get your facts straight. You had 33 in local, you couldnt kill a carrier in structure - which is when he self destructed so that is your loss. If you are not happy with the status quo then by all means do something about it but whining on coad cause a chimera self destructed on you is pretty ********.
Any other wise comments you care to throw in, by all means go for it but in this case you failed to kill a carrier cause you failed to have sufficent DPS to do it it in a reasonable amount of time - it is that simple.

we all love the random pew pew and every once in awhile fleet fights, but wth is the deal with no pos warfare being broken? drone regions really that much more interesting than delve?

Oddly enough, we show it was Chaos that broke that no pos warfare rule, we lost 3 of them before beginning to retaliate.

kronos, kronos, kronos. it sounds like theres only one person in this thread that is 'sour'. and just what is ur hang up with atlas/ci caps self destructing anyway? self destructing is a valid tactic. ive seen pilots of all ship sizes from many different corps/alliances do it.
i know alot of intrepid guys are bitter about having their asses handed to them repeatedly by smaller atlas/ci gangs. perhaps thats why u guys cant let go of this cap inciedent? or perhaps its because u know u will eventully go the same way as dmc. afterall - you will only be useful to ra for so long
as for 'touting ur own skills'. as soon as u see fit to pass judgement on someone and then post about it the way u did.. well.. u cant do it without touting urself

Just to clarify, I don't speak for all of IRC, and nor am I a diplomat of any kind. I simply posted out of my own curiosity, and entertainment purposes. So don't over generalize, and try to lump in all of IRC into my statements. I'm not part of every single IRC PvP engagement, and neither are you so lets agree you are ASSUMING a whole lot by your statements. We all know the saying about assuming things...
I personally as a gamer find it dishonorable to self destruct when you've clearly been beaten. It's the same as disconnecting in a FPS game when losing, and other acts of being a sore loser that people do in online games. I've always, and will continue to ridicule and belittle players who conduct themselves like this in a game. If you can't take your lumps with pride and dignity, how can you possibly be enjoying yourself?

its called denying your enemy of loot. I'll agree its a frustrating tactic that i dont like happening to me but it is also a smart one. Another tactic is putting crap about my m8's in your bios. Its a good way to get yourself called primary.
Also you could probably speak for IRC. Farham does a horrible job

I'm fairly certain the corp I am in was not a member of IRC during this, so I can't comment on it. I can say that since joining IRC I have been very impressed with the players there. They're fun, know how to play this game, and have both won and lost battles with grace while maintaining the goal of having fun the whole time. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, and I kinda like it that way. They point, I shoot and it's entertainment for all.
Fly safe, and have fun.
