Is it not linked to the database ingame? (If not, would it be possible - therefore saving them the effort of having to change 2 databases)

There is no reason why not too, well maybe their busy, but the old database just makes CCP look bad.

It probably is not linked to ingame. But since this is asp it may be linked to old data which generates the code. A simple update of the information from a recent dump might be all thats necessary.
