Serious question?
BOB has been at the same 10 outpost mark for over a month.
Has GoonSwarm given up or are they still trying but just being efficiently repelled?

I thought there was 150 alliances, 3000000000 people, and 1145% of Eve trying to take delve and not just Goons.

I'm sure with the coalitions venues of uber diplomacy, massive membership and legendary logistical skill (all thanks to BOB aparantly) that they will be on these forums talking crap in a thread near you soon.

BoB pushed the invaders back, alot of alliances are now slowing down or ending support to tend to personal matters.
BoB has tried to retake space but with little luck, that said the only bragging the coalition has been able to pull off lately is that BoB's own offensive isn't going well enough....dining nol much? ------ [Quha]El-Diablito - Quality newbie bashing anno 1998 - Be afraid, for I have no real life what so ever |

Short answer: because taking systems from an enemy compacted into a small area is not as easy as taking systems when your enemy has to run all over the map to defend themselves.
Somewhat longer answer: BoB is dug in well, and digging them out is probably not that easy. Aside from the advantage of Sov 3/4 systems, high mobility through jumpportals and titanbridges and large reserves of ships that BoB enjoys in its homesystems, their main achievement is not crumbling under the pressure, at least until now.
The Coalition has much longer supply lines, which may take some time to get up to speed, and some forces seem to have rotated out, at least for a while. The latest fight for QY6 does seem to indicate that the Coalition is not letting BoB take over the initiative.
Seeing the numerical advantage the Coalition currently enjoys, it is a viable strategy to just slowly grind BoB down, and give people time to recover isk by rotating them in and out of the combat zone. Of course, the success of this tactic depends on whether people will return to the frontlines after some time off.
Then again, I could be completely wrong and its simply because Goons needed to purchase and ship 2 billion metric tons of POS and fuel to their staging points and once that is done they might POS spam Delve to hell and back in a weeks time.
Or alternatively, the whole Coalition is bored out of their skulls and only days away from a total morale collapse after which BoB will sweep back into PB, PS, Esoteria and Feyth in the next month as noone shows up to fight them anymore. Also possible

As far as the bigest pos spamage I ve ever seen after the spam nerf, wtf, more towers to kill and nodes to die :-)
I have nothing to do with nor do I desire to have anything to do with - either corporation.

All are legimate and mature possibilities - thanks.
For the answer, it would take an extreme amount of candid comments by someone in the know from the coalition and diplomatically and strategically that is not likely to happen on this forum, naturally. So, a post like this one is as close as we will likely get to a solid stab at it. Thanks again.

I think the simple truth here is that these things take time to do. Nobody is working to a schedule that I'm aware of and for sure not taking NOL first try was a setback. That's probably why you haven't seen any progress but that's just a part of war. You pick yourself up after a defeat and keep on going.

Different war than pre-delve. its more a war of attrition than it ever was, ships, willpower, forum prowess....who will last the longest...?
But then the coalition has only taken all but one Bob region so it obvously means they are losing..amirite?
I give it another 6 months. RSF is prepared to pound away longer i suspect. ______________________ I am the worst poaster |

My estimation , after checking the current side-events and based om my own interpretation and some talks with various people from various factions involved (geez , that took some time to write...) , is that BoB will be able to lauch full scale attacks on Tortuga , and especially MC , in 2-4 weeks time. I think BoB needs at least 1-2 weeks to completely remove Coalition presence from Delve...maybe sooner if RAZOR / Pandemic Legion relocate their interests elsewhere very soon.
I personally do not think the last attacks from BoB on QY6 are the actual main offensive plan to "re-invade" QY6 (main reason to say this would be lack of Capital support for the engaging fleets even with cyno-jammer absent).
Of course , all I said is only my PERSONAL impression and only time will tell if any of us stating such things is wrong or right.
Fly safe everyone!
