d solo.
Yeah...the amount of moronic commentary from any number of directions in this thread is astounding, even for CAOD. Look at all the "haters." LOL.
For the record: This change in standings from blue to neutral is nothing more than a change to more properly reflect the current level of cooperation between our Insurgency and RAWR.
It does not reflect any intention to invade. It does not reflect any hate between the two parties. It does not reflect any current intention to involve ourselves directly in the current conflicts in Branch.
RAWR has a great deal of respect for Insurgency's pilots and we expect this change in standings will be a good thing for both of our respective alliances. If nothing else, I suspect we'll get to know each other better by shotting each other than we did being blue and having little or no contact other than rumor, innuendo and dealing with ship/pod reimbursement issues.

I have very little experience with insurgency but i have a quite a bit with MM and unless either insurgency are total spoons or MM have improved over the last few months or get a lot of help id say that insurgency will be the victors.
Although i have yet to see any post either way that say if this is a territorial war or a bit of pvp fun, i think that if it becomes about territory it could become another nap and blob war and then all bets are off due to the lack of actual ingame skill involved in that sort of warfare.
Sitting cloaked in M-0 watching TV does not constitute alot of experience.
Whats your point or are you claiming that sitting cloaked in m-o is the extent of my knowledge?.
That's okay, bud...we're not altogether too impressed with you specifically, either. Go figure.

Luv that Thol is RAWR's very own fanboi. That makes two...completelyunsophisticatedlegume and the great Tholarim.
This is when an alliance can be sure it has "arrived."

LOL..you guys just can't wait to get in here and start poasting, can ya? Says a lot.
I believe someone shot our station services in LXWN. This is just a little drop-by to say "Hi!" back.
Nothing more. Your diplomats are welcome to contact ours for any confirmation they might need.

Intresting showing off 5 titans with Network fail showoff Orree 300 in local im playing Yatzy. How about yourself? how much was the fuel cost bud?
Fuel cost wasn't that bad, tbh. Trivial, really. If you can field a large number of caps and 5 titans and you're concerned with the fuel cost of using them, then your problems would be mighty big indeed.
And yes the op was incredibly boring. I was in-gang for about four hours and did little more than wave to Shariona in local (lol) and click on "jump to member."
The unfortunate thing really is that any of this has to turn into a smack war. It need not. We assembled a fleet for our own purposes (and the agenda was more or less met in our estimation) and we took it north on the off chance we might have a target of opportunity present itself. It did not, so we shot some staton services and left.
As I said, Insurgency diplomats are free to contact us at any time for talks and/or confirmation of our intent. We're not going to be hashing anything out on CAOD. It's just not our way.
As to the guy who said he wouldn't do what we did. Get there first, then tell me what you would or wouldn't do. My money is on "you would" if you got the chance and you (for whatever reason) felt it was a useful exercise. Just because you do not now see the point in it doesn't mean there wasn't a good reason for it. We're not going to feel guilty about building and fielding a supercap fleet whenever and for whatever reason we wish to field it.

Originally by: Zorland Interesting read... When 4-5 alliances band together and fail against one, and then they have to call in yet another blobing alliance to join them, then that pretty much says all about you Insurgency. Obviously, you are much better, otherwise they wouldn't need that many friends to deal with you. I am pretty sure you will win and achive whatever is your goal. Good luck.
Except that we were not "called in." The mere fact that we came on short notice and left on even shorter notice proves that out.
It would be really cool if people would quit trying to make this into something it isn't.
If you ever see us move up there in force and start seiging towers on a long-term basis, then you'll know that we're doing what you say we're doing. Until then, you're completely wrong.
Insurgency has been fighting in Branch for months and we haven't gotten involved. A quick roadie here and there doesn't constitute involvement, either.

Originally by: AIchemist So, you demand space from mnm they don't give you what you want. Now your going to make they pay by going to war with them.People that you had blue and that had you blue.mnm had to deal with your a.d.d. like way of shooting friendly pilots|targets.
So you turn on mnm, go to war with them and then come to public forum to complain about the assets they brought to fight.
ok
Three 'minor' corrections for you;
1) We didnt demand any space from MM. 2) We didnt go to war with MM, they made a decision to set us neutral, which is fine by us and works well for both parties. 3) No-one is complaining in INSRG. Savivating at the prospect of getting on titan/capital killmails would be a more accurate description.
btw who or what is mnm ??
Just to emphasize the these points so people will actually have it register and perhaps stop trying to stir up a bunch of garbage.
1. Confirmed. Insurgency requested no space from us at any time. We hold Tribute and one station in Branch. Those are the only pieces of real estate we speak for. At various times over the past few months we did in fact offer a station to Insurgency in return for certain considerations. They declined. Relations were cordial.
2. Again, confirmed. Neither party has "gone to war." It's a simple standings reset to more properly reflect the level of cooperation between our two entities. As far as I know, relations are still cordial. Insurgency is doing it's thing. We're doing ours. There is no war and there aren't any definite plans for war. Can things get pushed too far? Absolutely. That just stands to reason.
3. The salivating is also mutual. I think there's a nice, healthy rivalry that is building between RAWR and Insurgency. It should lead to quite a lot of fun skirmishes over time. We'll be looking to go after their capital assets as much as they'd like to hit ours. This does not mean we're planning on or will be entering into any territorial warfare. It also doesn't mean necessarily that if we show up somewhere, that someone "called us in."
