it will be very simple i think:
MM invade the insrg station system, they win the system, insrg falls back to npc station and mm is in deep **** then because they can't hurt insrg anymore, insrg will get friendly with "somebody", MM will fall.
but lets not take mm light, they will blob because its the only way they will be able to win a fight

Im glad to see so many alts have amazing insight into INRG/MM business... if you can all get together produce an evaluation of both alliances and mail it to me that would be very much appreciated .
If anyone knows for sure that INSRG are posting with alt characters to stir things just mail me (proof not speculation), they will be removed as thats obviously something we dont allow, im sure Morsus would also like to be told.

Oi, i live in that area. Not commenting on MM's fighting capability because their main force has been down south for the time i've been there. But the few (small) gatecamps that they had in the past got mopped up quite fast.
INSRG on the other hand i wouldnt mind see removed from my backyard. But i would have expected RAWR to attack TRI first. With all the expencive losses RAWR took and the regular 20-30 man TRI gangs that roam through Tribute a few times a day.
Now, you people go lag the place up far away from the node i'm on. The last few days have been nuts because of TRI <> SMASHKILL fighting it out.

Yeah...the amount of moronic commentary from any number of directions in this thread is astounding, even for CAOD. Look at all the "haters." LOL.
For the record: This change in standings from blue to neutral is nothing more than a change to more properly reflect the current level of cooperation between our Insurgency and RAWR.
It does not reflect any intention to invade. It does not reflect any hate between the two parties. It does not reflect any current intention to involve ourselves directly in the current conflicts in Branch.
RAWR has a great deal of respect for Insurgency's pilots and we expect this change in standings will be a good thing for both of our respective alliances. If nothing else, I suspect we'll get to know each other better by shotting each other than we did being blue and having little or no contact other than rumor, innuendo and dealing with ship/pod reimbursement issues.

I have very little experience with insurgency but i have a quite a bit with MM and unless either insurgency are total spoons or MM have improved over the last few months or get a lot of help id say that insurgency will be the victors.
Although i have yet to see any post either way that say if this is a territorial war or a bit of pvp fun, i think that if it becomes about territory it could become another nap and blob war and then all bets are off due to the lack of actual ingame skill involved in that sort of warfare.
My views may reflect those of my corp/alliance, but if you wanna know for sure ask em ffs. |
