SpaceSlag Blast Surface Fallen Souls	Posted - 2007.05.07 18:38:00 - [61] Anybody ever notice that the prerequisite for Jovian Frigate is Jovian Frigate 5? Still think you can just hop right into ANY Jovian ship without being a Dev or GM? ...Think again.

Heck,the planetary flight video is now over 2 years old,and we still don't have that in game either... Nor T2 BS's,wich i maxed out the Amarr BS skill 3 years ago as well...

Clarissa McDougall	Posted - 2007.05.08 18:23:00 - [66] Jove equipment, including ships, is tech 5 - at least. We haven't even finished getting tech 2 yet (no T2 battleships or capitals, for example). Go figure. The devs don't even know what to do with tech 3. If the jump in required skills and in cost is as great as it is for tech 1 to tech 2, then it will take a year to train for a tech 3 frigate, which will cost half a billion - so tech 3 has to be in the direction of greater specialisation and/or customisation, not just more pwnage. God only knows what tech 4 and 5 will bring us. Personally, I suspect that tech 4-5 will never be seen in EVE at all.

I believe I just read a post last week where they said that Tech 3 is supposed to have less PG and CPU requirements but give less of a bonus. The idea being opposite of Tech 2 which gives better bonus at the expense of higher PG and CPU.
