By the way, A player showed up with the Goon, his name was Iam ***, he salvaged the wreck of the Goon and took my drones before I could recover them, think he's an alt-Goon.

A point to be made here - This is a computer game, and should not be taken out of proportion. As much as the name to the GS campaign is ill chosen, there is no point in bringing real life into this. Miners can mine in packs and employ mercs to protect them while mining, thus denying the easy kill from GS. You would have to pay their wardec fee of 150m a week plus their time if they are just going to sit there. It would add up to hundreds of millions of isk a week and they probably won't even kill anyone as the Goons will just fly away. How is that hurting the Gasbags? Unrealistic. Your best bet is to just train Shield Management to V and get four small shield extender IIs on and that will get you over 3,200 shields of protection. And warping out when you see goons in system would be a really good idea to. Just set the Goons to -10 and run when you see any. As is your second point. (mining strikes) Not enough miners will ever agree to this. So how about just working with me to kill the Goons? It is so satisfying to look at all those Gasbag kills.

Most miners stay in high sec cause they know they are just an easy kill to about anyone in low or 0.0 space. Most miners will not be forced to move from high sec no matter how much you ravenous blood thirsty cravens want them too. So we will pay mercs to kill the gasbags for their depradations of these game mechanics and we hope that CCP will soon make all Concord kills not payout insurance. This is the only way to fix this travesty of game play.
