I am so tired of these goons messing Eve up for everyone else. What with Hulkageddon, the shooting of ice miners, or even ruining Incursions for us in High Sec.
Therefor, I am starting a coalition to attack the goons in their own space on their own turf. WE NEED TO TAKE THEM DOWN IMMEDIATELY. We want to play Eve OUR way, but in order to do that, we need to finally remove the goons from Eve so that we can do this.
I am doing a call of arms to Torrinos to start a fleet of at least 200+ people. From there, we will move towards goon space and take down all POS's that we see into reinforced mode, and shoot any goon fleets we encounter!
In order to be a part of this, send me an eve-mail and we will go from there. Also, I am trying to start a ship replacement program for the pilots who participate in this, so please send some isk to this character! Goons will be fielding T2 and cap ships, so we'll definitely need to field ships of the same caliber. Please send me donations so we can start the onslaught against the goons! |

Patience is a virtue one day their leadership wil get bored of this and leave others take over and tho name stays the same they will basicly be another alliance with other goals and other ideas, happens in every MMO no matter if you call them corporations or guilds
Goons already had a huge change a while back and got them selves almost destroyed because of their leadership
they recovered , they still the same alliance with a slightly mentallity change ,only new leadership and slightly different name , same will happen in the future
so this is permanence |

so far we (EVE players) have reason to believe that alliances/corporations that are founded on strong OOG communities are much more stable/resilient than your average EVE corp.
maybe that will turn out to be wrong but it seems plausible that a strong common background that is shared by all members ("culture" of their OOG community) and access to a huge base of potential EVE players that can be tapped with recruitment drives are real boons. The desire to remain part of the (oog) community can also be seen as a form as collateral that disincentivizes bad behavior in EVE.
talking about anecdotal evidence it is also interesting to think about the type of community found e.g. on reddit or SA and compare it to the 4chan /b/ and /v/ communities - very tempting to draw parallels to the fate of their respective EVE corporations. |
