Your opening remark was to slander us for putting words in peoples mouths Ashar but the only one doing that here is you and your allies. Even then you cannot agree what falsehood to stick to.
Shakor's words are a matter of public record and thanks to the sources being disclosed, namely the Ragnarok launching ceremony, are also in quoted in context. Becq has merely quoted that speech and not made any claim to it's contents meaning, leaving it to speak for itself.
You have tripped up on your own forked tounges, hurling insults to try and mask that will do you no good. This 'tradition' of Amarrians having to spit incoherant bile into every Matari public debate is growing tiresome but if your intent is to silence us or derail our debates know that you have failed.

Originally by: Daziel Iaar i'm sure if we were to come to your "homelands" and sit outside your main station you would urge your government to declare war on the whole of the Empire.
You must be a young one amongst your horde.
Some of your older (not wiser) pilots may have noticed that this has happened, and instead calling for the support from the republic that will never happen, we solved the issue at hand by ourselfes.
We spanked you back home to your statue in amarr. Good old times.
Since that day, your own words seem to confirm that, our pilots still watch your station so the times you can undock and do your slaveraiding or botshaggin is limited. Call it best effort.
In the name of the brave freedom fighters who do nowadays, what we did back then - Youre welcome ;)

You know, obviously I have to root for my own alliance - they're my buddies, after all. But Ushra'Khan, know that you have my best wishes for your success, and should Destiny get knocked out, let there be absolutely no doubt as to whom I shall be supporting in the Tournament.

Originally by: Becq Starforged It's rare that I agree with slavers, but this time I must. Let Malaetu Shakor, head of the Republic Parliament, and a great hero to the Matari people, speak for himself...
Let his actions also serve as indication of his alliegance - he has not abandoned his office in the parliament, and thus is loyal to the government whose head of state you publically derided. Claiming he supports you in any true ideological sense at this point is hilarious, because the man pledges alliegance to the forces in the Republic's government that you reject. You can't turn your backs on the central element of said government and then go and claim that the head of parliament is your secret best friend. One of these things is not like the other, alright, captain? One of these things just doesn't belong. I've never claimed that Mr. Shakor is a supporter of Ushrak'Khan's policies or methods, either openly or in private. Instead, I state what should be obvious: when Mr. Shakor stands up and publicly demands that every slave be freed, and advocates that the Republic should oppose the Empire until the day comes when that demand is met, I support him enthusiastically and wonder how others in Parliament -- and more importantly, Midular herself -- can oppose this position.
As a point worth mentioning, Malaetu Shakor is not in fact sworn to Karin Midular, or even to the government of the Republic. Instead, every member of the government including Shakor and Midular are sworn to the Matari people. Midular apparently believes that selling the freedom of those unimportant few lost to slave raids over the years and centuries past to push back the Reclaimation a few years is in the best interest of the Matari people. Malaetu Shakor has, through actions and words, demonstrated that he is unwilling to rest while his brethren remain enslaved.
Quote: (One further contextual tidbit I'll add to this: the subject of this speech, what he referred to as the "means to loosen our tormentors' hold and win freedom" was the Ragnarok-class titan.)
(You're not the only one to read capship descriptions, mate :P Now quit making OOC comments in here! Bad.) ((OOC: Response here.))

Originally by: Rodj Blake Shakor's words merely prove that he is a supporter of terrorism.
What is hostile invasion and enslavement of the entire Minmatar but an act of extreme terrorism (as in causing terror) on a huge scale? All the deaths of innocent Matari? One must wonder how one can justify such actions while condemning a few isolated groups and their, sadly, small actions on the grand scale of thing. Actions that you Amarrians are directly responsible for to begin with.
Oh, that's right, I'm sure you'll argue God gave you the right... pathetic. It seems to me your so-called God is little else than an entity to superfluously justify your own ambitions while disposing of all responsibility for your actions. And you call yourselves civilized.
