Joking. I do spend a lot of time playing this game. As soon as I sell the 98 CCCs I have left I'll take a break though.

I just love this type of post where someone complains about getting undercut by anything more than .01 ISK, bragging about selling a whole lot more than the person undercutting, and then to complete the trifecta, admits that they are just whining as if people really care.

The EVE market never ceases to amaze me.
I can't for the life of me understand why some people place their orders as they do - but I dont expect anyone to trade for my convenience and I would reckon just as I think I am onto a good thing - it's not gonna last long.
The market for a T2 item in one region had completely crashed due to lots of dumpers on the market - the selling price was soooooo close to my buy orders - I took a chance and bought loads and took them to the busiest station in a nearby region - 6 jumps away.
I am currently making 50% profit on the items I bought -
The dumper made his profit - I am making mine - everyone is a winner!"
The 0.01 ISK game is not for everyone -

If, as a trader, you are seriously hurt by the profit drop of one single item, then you did it wrong.
Diversify, man! There's more than one way to skin a cat, and you can make the margins you want if you look hard enough.
Hint: if someone's making a profit selling ravens, imagine how the guy selling Cruiser Missile launchers is doing!

Here's another hint:
In any PVP enterprise, winning isn't the most important thing. The most important thing is not losing. The only way to ensure you never lose to someone else is to be self-destructive. Then, you can only win.
If your profits would be lessened by someone, destroy everyone's profits to hurt him.
If your market share would be encroached upon, destroy the market.
If the profit margin is too close, buy all the sell orders and sell them at loss.
When the sell price gets too low, buy everything.
If a pirate is going to suicide gank you, delete your character.
